Paladin Subclass
At 3rd level, a paladin gains the Sacred Oath feature. The following options are avaialbe to a paladin, in addition to those offered in the Player's Handbook: Oath of Winter Warden.
Oath of the Winter Warden
The Winter Wardens are an ancient order of knights that dwell in the coldest regions of the world and bring winter with them wherever they go. Originally, many sects of similar orders were formed across the frozen cities and settlements of the world. As they gradually became aware of each other they collectively took the title of Winter Wardens.
Tenets of the Winter Wardens
The Winter Wardens follow a strict but simplet set of tenets as their homes are harsh places that can easily take the lives of those who are not careful.
Shelter the Needy Any who comes to you for help must be given the help they seek. Give them shelter from the cold and give them warm food and drink to restore their strength.
Be Prepared Always keep materials you may need. Extra clothes, food and drink for yourself or for someone in need, and bring the tools you might need for the voyage ahead.
Be the Shield You are the last line of defense between civilization and the threats of the winter. If necessary, you will sacrifice your life to save others.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.
Cloak of Winter As an action, you can wreath yourself in an aura of freezing winds using your channel divinity. For 10 minutes, any creature that ends its turn within 15 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw or have their defenses become brittle for a minute. When you activate this effect you can select any number of creatures to be unaffected.
Whenever a brittle creature is hit with an attack, they take additional cold damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). This bonus damage is only applied to a creature once per turn, unless you are the source of the triggering effect.
You can end your Cloak of Winter early on your turn as a free action.
Brave the Cold You can use your Channel Divinity to beseech guidance from nature and the great outdoors. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a +5 bonus to Intelligence (Nature) and Wisdom (Survival) checks for the next 10 minutes.
Aura of Fortitude
Begining at 7th level, you and your allies become resistant to the dangers of the winter elements. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have resistance to cold damage, have advantage on constitution saving throws, and feel comfortable in cold temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius.
At 18th Level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Soul of Winter
Starting at 15th level, your entire being is infused with the power of winter, bolstering your divine capabilities. When you use your divine smite, you can choose to change the damage type to cold damage. If you do, you can force the target to make a Constitution saving throw or become Brittle for a minute as described in Cloak of Winter above.
Deep Cold
At 20th level, you become a symbol of power and strength that people look towards for guidance. You gain the following effects:
- You are immune to cold damage and resistant to fire damage.
- Any cold damage you deal cannot be reduced in any way except by immunity.
- Enemies whose defenses are brittle have their AC reduced by 2.
- You can use both your Channel Divinity abilities once per short or long rest.
