Circle of the Wyrms

Druids of the Circle of Wyrms represent the scaled fury of the primal dragons. Fierce and frightening, these druids protect their groves by striking fear and fire in the hearts of their enemies.

Circle Spells

Your commitment to the safety of the material realm grants you access to certain spells. At 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level, you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of Wyrms table.

Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Dragon shape

Starting at 2nd level, The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into spirits resembling the great dragons.

Choose a damage type other than bludgeoning, piercing or slashing to be your draconic damage type. Any damage dealt by your circle spells is changed to your draconic damage type.

As a bonus action, you can wildshape into a draconic form. The statistics of the draconic form are described at the end of the subclass description, and all the other rules of wildshape still apply.

While transformed in this way, you can cast any of your circle spells, requiring no components except Verbal, expending a spell slot as normal.

Primal terror

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn while in draconic form.

In addition, your attacks in draconic form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Dragon's breath

Starting at 10th level, you learn to breathe fierce elemental energy. When you take the attack action while in draconic form, you can use your bonus action to expend a spell slot to exhale a destructive blast.

All creatures in a 30ft cone must make a dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 damage per level of the spell slot expended of your draconic damage type on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save.

Frightening Presence

Starting at 14th level, you have achieved the pinnacle of terrifying prowess. When a creature begins its turn within 5ft of you, you can force it to make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the beginning of its next turn.

Great Wyrm

Starting at 14th level, your draconic form grows more fierce. While in draconic form, you gain immunity to your draconic damage type and a flying speed equal to your movement speed.
