Warlock Otherworldly Patron: The Wild Thing

The Wild Thing is a nameless entity of the far reaches of the world, in deep forests and black caverns, where sentience and civilisation rarely dare to tread. Calling to the primal parts of all creatures, it drives its servants to dismantle what mortals have wrought and return the world to the ceaseless chaos of nature.

Expanded Spell List

The Wild Thing lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Spell Level Spells
1st Animal Friendship, Entangle
2nd Animal Messenger, Spike Growth
3rd Conjure Animals, Plant Growth
4th Conjure Woodland Beings, Guardian of Nature
5th Commune with Nature, Tree Stride

Bonus Cantrip

When you choose this pact at 1st level, you gain the Primal Savagery cantrip. This counts as a warlock cantrip for you, but does not count against the number of warlock cantrips you know.

Bounding Hunter

From 1st level, your patron infuses your limbs with the tireless energy of a predator. Your movement speed increases by 10 feet, and you may use your Charisma score, instead of Strength, for calculating your jump distances.

Primal Instincts

Starting at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the Wisdom (Survival) skill, and you may choose one of your senses from hearing, sight, or smell; you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on the chosen sense. Your appearance may subtly shift to reflect this choice, such elongated ears for hearing, or bestial pupils for sight.

Cornered Predator

At 6th level, you may choose to use your reaction to make an attack of opportunity when a creature enters your threatened area, rather than leaving it.

Watching Shadow

Beginning at 10th level, while you are standing in dim light or darkness, you may use your action to turn invisible. This invisibility lasts for 1 minute, or until you move, attack, or cast a spell. You may use this feature a number of times equal to 1 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of twice) and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Bird of Prey

At 14th level, your patron blesses you with primal wings. As a bonus action, you may grow or dismiss a pair of feathered wings, typically those of an eagle or falcon; you may not manifest the wings unless your armour is specifically made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings may be destroyed when you manifest them.

While your wings are present, you have a flying speed equal to your movement speed.
