## Seeker
A seeker is a ranger that hunts explicit quarry, acting much like a bounty hunter. Seekers are consummate huntsmen, with a single-minded purpose in their pursuits. ##### Seeker Features | Ranger Level | Feature |:--:|:----| | 3rd | Seeker Magic, Hunter’s Focus, Master Tracker | 7th | Ensnare | 11th | Quarry’s End | 15th | Hunter's Wile #### Seeker Magic ###### *3rd-level Seeker feature* You learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Seeker Spells table. Each spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know. ##### Seeker Spells | Ranger Level | Spell |:--:|:----| | 3rd | *sleep* | 5th | *locate object* | 9th | *nondetection* | 13th | *grasping vine* | 17th | *scrying* #### Hunter’s Focus ###### *3rd-level Seeker feature* You set your focus on a single creature you can see which is within 60 feet of you by taking an action. So long as you maintain this focus, you have advantage on Wisdom ability checks against it such as Perception, Insight, and Survival. Additionally, the target of your focus is affected by the *hunter’s mark* spell as if you cast it. When cast this way, *hunter’s mark* doesn’t expend a spell slot, has no components, and doesn’t require concentration. It remains in effect as long you maintain your Hunter’s Focus feature on the target. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless your focus target is reduced to 0 hit points. Once you set a new focus, you lose your old focus. \columnbreak #### Master Tracker ###### *3rd-level Seeker feature* While tracking any creature, you can add your proficiency bonus to the roll. If you have proficiency in Survival, you instead double your proficiency bonus when tracking. You can also use your Primeval Awareness feature to locate the creature you set your focus from your Hunter’s Focus feature; if the creature is within 5 miles of you, you know its direction and distance from you. #### Ensnare ###### *7th-level Seeker feature* Exceptionally adept at trapping and eliminating your quarry, you increase the DC of your ranger spells and class features by 2. #### Quarry’s End ###### *11th-level Seeker feature* You can set your focus using a bonus action. Whenever you damage a creature which you have set your focus with a weapon attack or ranger spell, if it has less hit points remaining than your level in this class, it is immediately reduced to 0 hit points. Whenever you reduce your focus target to 0 hit points, you decide whether to render it unconscious or have it make death saves (or outright kill it if the DM doesn’t allow death saves for the target). #### Hunter's Wile ###### *15th-level Seeker feature* When your focus target succeeds on an attack against you, you can use your reaction to force it to reroll the d20 and use the lower roll. If you are still hit, you don’t expend a use of this feature. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum once) and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ---
