Aasimar Racial Feats

Angelic Ascendant

Prerequisite: Protector Aasimar

Your angelic blood boils with divine light and you've learned to release it to smite your foes.

Choose one of the following stats for the abilities of this feat: Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.

  • You learn the Sacred Flame cantrip, the casting stat is the same as the mental stat you chose for this feat.
  • While you are under the effects of your Radiant Soul ability, you may use your action to release a bolt of divine light towards a target within 120 feet of you. Make a ranged attack against the target, adding your proficiency bonus plus the modifier of the mental stat you choose for this feat to the roll. This attack deals your level as radiant damage on a hit.

Greater Radiant Consumption

Prerequisite: Scourge Aasimar

You've mastered the powerful radiant energy within your soul, having learned how to use it more adeptly.

When you active your Radiant Consumption ability, you may do so using a bonus action. Additionally, choose to gain one of the following benefits:

  • Reckless Burst: Yourself and creatures within 10ft of you take additional radiant damage equal to your proficiency bonus at the end of your turn.
  • Sculpt Radiance: You may choose for your Radiant Consumption to not deal damage to a number of creatures of your choice (including yourself) equal to half of your proficiency bonus rounded up.

Battlefield Terror

Prerequisite: Fallen Aasimar

The sight of your necrotic form can frighten the toughest foes, you've learned how to best exploit their terror for breif moments.

  • You can use your bonus action to flash necrotic energy in your eyes and force a creature within 30 feet of you to make a charisma saving throw or become frightened of you until the start of your next turn. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your charisma modifier per long rest (minimum of 1).
  • You have advantage on attacks against creatures who are frightened of you.

Ecclesiastic

Prerequisite: Aasimar

Your natural abilities are well suited to helping and guiding others.

  • You gain proficiency in Religion or Persuasion (your choice)
  • Choose between your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You may use your Healing Hands ability a number of times equal to the modifier of that score per long rest (minimum of 1).
  • You can use your Healing Hands ability to instead cast the Bless spell at a level equal to half of your proficiency bonus rounded up.

Crusader

Prerequisite: Aasimar

Your divine blood boils for the destruction of evil. You learn the Detect Evil & Good spell, as well as two first level spells that contain the word 'Smite.' You can cast each of these spells once without expending a spell slot per long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you already have. You may choose between Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma for the casting stat of these spells.

Light Touched

Prerequisite: None

Your exposure to Mount Celestia's magic has changed you, granting you the following benefits:

  • Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma by 1.
  • You learn the Lesser Restoration spell and one 1st-level spell of your choice. This spell must be from the cleric or paladin spell list. You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either of these spells in this way, you can't cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you already have. The spells' spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
