Chapter 1 - Hycalria's Multiverse
Introduction
Welcome! I am JustAnotherDM, although you can call me Alloknax or Vul. This is one of several documents that make up the lore and history series for my homebrew world of Hycalria. This document specifically is my Manual of the Planes, basically. It will cover all eight planes of existance, from the material plane that is Hycalria to the caged halls of Asithyn. Lets get started shall we?
Cosmological Model
Hycalria's multiverse is arrange in three layers, somewhat similar to the Great Wheel Model. At the top are the Upper Planes of Starhaven, Havithon, and Faerie. In the are is the Material Plane of Hycalria and its coexisting plane of Erithop. The prison Plane of Asithyn is on this level as well. At the bottom are the Lower Planes of Fugithos, the Abyss, and Hecithon. Now, lets get onto Specifics.
On the Natives of the Planes
Each of the Nine planes has its various inhabitants and natives. They are as follows:
Celestials. These are the inhabitants of Starhaven, home of the Gods. They are usually the servants of the deities. They also inhabit Havithon
Fae(Fey). These are the inhabitants of Faerie, and serve as protectors of Nature.
Elementals. These are the physical embodiments of Elemental Water, Earth, Air, and Fire. They can be found across the plane of Erithop.
Undead. Extraplanar undead make their home on the plane of Fugithos, and are known as the Hungry Dead.
Fiends. Fiends make their home in The Abyss. Demons rule some of the Abyss' seven Chasms with fang and claw. Devils rule the Circles of the Nine, within the Hellrift under the watchful eye of Asmodeus. Yugoloths embroil themselves in the Blood War between Devil and Demon. And more besides.
Shades. The Shades make their home on the plane of Hecithon, where Hycalria casts a deadly Shadow.
Cagewatchers. These strange beings are the Jailors of Asithyn, and keep watch over the prisons of the six Primordials of Hycalria.
Deities and the Planes
Many deities live among the outer planes. Because of this, they have a simple rank associated with their divine rank. These ranks are Planar Lord, Planar Baron, and Planar Duke. Collectively, they are known as Planar Rulers.
Planar Lord. The Planar Lords are the Greater Deities of Hycalria, the beings that wielded the magic to create the Planes of existence. This is the highest of the Planar Rulers, and only a few can and will exist. Notable ones include Draconicus, Funhythil, and Kusirath.
Planar Baron. The Planar Barons are lesser deities that serve the Planar lords, ruling over large regions of the planes. Notable ones include Yokari, Ducon, and Arador.
Planar Duke. The Planar Dukes are the Demigods that serve the Greater and Lesser Deities. Four rule over Erithop, the Elemental Chaos: Gunitan, Miana, Misovir, and Rislon.

Chapter 2 - The Planes of Existence
The Prime Material Plane
The Prime Material Plane of this cosmology is the mortal Realm of Hycalria. A world of mortals and immortal creatures, home to Humans, Shifters, Aasimar, and more. With a history that spans well over ten thousand years, you are sure to find so much within.
Fallen Empires. In this Age of Darkness, the Therian Empire's Fall still resonates across the planet. Magic runs wild in certain areas, and the great Lupa City lies in ruins. Contact between the three continents is cut off, and magic is unreliable at the best of times. It is a sad world indeed.
Starhaven, the Realm Above
Starhaven is a realm of purity and good. Home to the Gods of Hycalria, it is a world best seen with your own eyes.
Wartorn Past. This majestic realm still bears the scars of the Divine Civil War more than twelve thousand years ago. Ryridiel and Lucifael's fighting brought on the ire of Kayon Skylord, and the scars of the Sunlord's wrath can still be seen across the landscape.
The Wildlands. This region of Starhaven is home to Lycos Chainbreaker. It was once home to Kithnoron the White Wolf, before his corruption into Fenrir the Dread Wolf. Kithnoron's sword, Valvis, still hangs on the wall of the Wolf Cathedral.

Library of Memories. Within the halls of Havithon, there lies the Library of Memories, where all the histories of the Realms of Hycalria are held. Here, you can find the records of the Divine Civil War and the following Great Exile, records of the Fall of Theria, and more besides, all under the watch of the Lesser Deity Yokari.

Erithop, the Elemental Chaos
This middle plane is a place of chaos, the home of the creatures called Elementals. Split between the elements of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, it is a realm of great magic.
Elementals Abound. This realm is the home of the Elementals, beings that embody the four Primal Elements. They can be summoned from this place, and to it they always return.
The Four Citadels. Four Demigods rule over Erithop, from four great Citadels across the plane.

The Winter Court is ruled by Maeve, Queen of Air and Darkness. The Shadow Court is ruled by Nitoril, the Shadow King. The Dusk Court is ruled by Lilith, the Vampire Queen. And the Wyld Court is ruled by Olyvirn the Huntsman, Lord of the Wild Hunt and God of Hunting.
