### Eagle Warrior The archetypal Eagle Warrior has trained since youth in the art of physical combat and spiritual reverence. To an Eagle Warrior, it is more important to capture their foes and establish dominance than it is to simply leave bodies in their wake. Those who model themselves on this archetype strike fear on the battlefield as their gods back their every step. #### Skilled Crafter When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with woodcarver's tools. You can use these to maintain your weapons or craft darts for an atlatl. If you already have woodcarver's tools proficiency, choose a different set of artisan's tools. #### Subduing Strike At 3rd level, you learn a technique to help capture your targets known as a Subduing Strike. Once per turn, immediately after hitting a creature with a melee weapon attack and resolving damage, you can attempt to grapple or shove the target. You can choose to skip the contest. #### Specialized Armory Also at 3rd level, your training has prepared you with more options to capture your targets or keep them alive. Once per turn, when you take the Attack action and hit a creature with a macuahuitl, tepoztopilli, or dart from an atlatl, you can cause an additional effect based on the weapon used: * With a macuahuitl, the creature's movement speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. * With a tepoztopilli, you can move 5 feet to a space closer to or next to the creature as part of the attack. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. * With an atlatl, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can choose to knock them unconscious rather than kill them outright. The creature is stable in this case. #### Sacrificial Marking Starting at 7th level, you have earned the rank of Otomi. Your gods reward your successes by stealing vigor from those you mark for death in battle. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a Subduing Strike or while using an atlatl, they are marked until the start of your next turn. If they drop to 0 hit points while marked in this way and within 60 feet of you, you gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level. #### Death Grip By 10th level, you have mastered methods of overpowering and capturing foes and have achieved the rank of Shorn One. You have advantage on weapon attacks against creatures grappled by you or an ally. You can also grapple a creature with the same hand holding a shield, but the grappled creature ignores the bonuses granted by the shield. \columnbreak #### Howls of Terror At 15th level, you have learned to crush the spirits of your enemies as you tear through their ranks. When you reduce a creature marked by your Sacrificial Marking to 0 hit points, you can channel deathly howls from their dying breath. When using this feature, the creature is always killed as you sacrifice their life to your deities. The howls amplify the screams of the dying and strike fear in the hearts of those around you. Each creature you choose within 60 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be frightened of you until the start of your next turn. If you kill the creature on your turn, you use a bonus action to channel the howls. If you kill them on an attack from a reaction, the howls can be channeled as part of the same reaction. \pagebreak #### Call to Arms At 18th level, you have earned the title of the Master of the House of Darts, with the power and authority of a high general. Your fervor on the battlefield inspires your allies. When you mark a creature with a Sacrificial Marking, you can rally your allies to fight. Choose up to three creatures, other than you, within 60 feet of you that you can see and that can see you. As a reaction, each of them can move up to 10 feet towards a creature and make a weapon attack. Additionally, until the start of your next turn, you can expend your own reaction to allow one of them to take an additional reaction, pushing them beyond their limits. They must be within 60 feet of you and able to see and hear you, and you must perceive the trigger of the reaction. You can use this ability three times. You regain all uses after a long rest. If you roll initiative and have no uses of Call to Arms remaining, you regain one use of it. \columnbreak ### Weapon Descriptions
