## Blade Dancer Entertainment is a vital part of any society. The people need entertainment to relax and unwind after a hard day, or to occupy themselves when they’re bored. Every entertainer has their own idea of what really captivates a crowd, but the general consensus in Calandor? Thrills. Indeed, every great show must be thrilling. It must excite the viewer, drawing them in and keeping their focus. And what better way to excite the viewer than to add a little danger? This is the focus of the Blade Dancer. Combining grace, elegance, and danger, the blade dancer has a number of specialties, always striking fast and fluidly. You’d be hard pressed to find a rogue that’s better with their chosen weapons. ### Blade Dancer Features

### Entertainer When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Performance and Persuasion skills if you do not already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you made that uses either of those proficiencies. ### Blade Weaver Starting at 3rd level, you adopt a particular style of fighting into your blade dancing. Choose one of the following options. You can't take the same Fighting Style option more than once, even if you get to choose again. **Dueling** When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon. **Thrown Weapon Fighting** You can draw a weapon that has the thrown property as part of the attack you make with the weapon. In addition, when you hit with a ranged attack using a thrown weapon, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll. **Two-Weapon FIghting** When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. \columnbreak ### Enchanting Presence At 3rd level, you can charm an opponent into dropping their guard against you. As a bonus action, you can make a Charisma (Performance) check against a creature you can see that isn't incapacitated, contested by the target's Wisdom (Insight) check. If you succeed, you can use your Sneak Attack against that target even if you don't have advantage on the attack roll, but not if you have disadvantage on it. This benefit lasts for 1 minute or until you successfully use this feature against a different target. ### Dancer's Poise Starting at 9th level, you can develop your blade dancing to be more articulate. You gain one of the following features of your choice. **Prancing Blade** When you make a melee weapon attack, you can use a bonus action to move up to half your walking speed and gain +2 to your AC until the end of your turn. **Carnival Thrower** Once per turn, when you target a creature with a ranged attack using a weapon with the *thrown* property, you can make an additional attack against a creature within 5 ft of the target. **Feinting Strike** When a creature within 60 ft of you targets you with an attack and misses, you can use your reaction to make an attack against the creature. ### Graceful Evasion Starting at 13th level, when a creature attacks you, you can use your reaction to add your Charisma bonus to your AC, potentially turning the attack into a miss. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain all expended uses of this feature when you complete a long rest. ### Dancer's Elegance Starting at 17th level, you have mastered your routine, adding a final section to your dance. You gain one of the following features of your choice. **Brutal Blades** When you land a melee weapon attack against a creature affected by your Enchanting Presence feature, you can roll 2 additional damage dice. **Bullseye** When you make a ranged attack with a *thrown* weapon, the attack scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. **Sweeping Edge** Once per turn, when you deal Sneak Attack damage to a creature and attack a different creature on the same turn, you can inflict half your Sneak Attack damage against the new target. You don't need advantage on this attack roll to use Sneak Attack against the secondary target, but you can not have disadvantage on it.
