# Witches Coven ## Coven of Cinders ### Long ago those who would tamper with fate where branded as heathens and put to the flames. Those who would service this period came to found this Coven to avenge their fallen. #### Expanded Spell List Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Cinders Spells table. The spell counts as a Witch spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of Witch spells you know. ##### Cinders Spells | Witch Level | Spell | |:------------:|:-----------------------| | 3rd | *burning hands* | | 5th | *heat metal* | | 7th | *fireball* | | 9th | *fire shield* | | 11th | *immolation* | | 13th | *investiture of flame* | #### Baptism of Ash Starting from 3rd level, you learn the *firebolt* cantrip, it counts as a witch spell for you and does not count against the number of spells known. Additionally, as the ashes of your brethren have clung to your body you gain resistance to fire damage. #### Retribution At 3rd level, your powers are made to take revenge for those who would bring harm to your or your allies. When a creature makes a weapon attack against you or an ally within 10 feet of you, you can as a reaction, force the attacker to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes fire damage equal the damage that was originally inflicted.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus and regain all uses upon finishing a long rest. \columnbreak #### Jinx: Brand of the Traitor At 6th level, as a bonus action, you can expend and roll a Jinx Die to twist fortune to burn a mark into a creature within 30 feet of you to brand it an enemy and traitor for 1 hour. The creature takes fire damage equal to the initial roll and is under the following effects; * You advantage on ability checks to track the creature. * When the creature is hit with a weapon attack for the first time each turn they take additional fire damage equal to a roll on your Jinx Die. * If the creature has resistance to fire damage the creature is no longer resistant to fire damage while branded. #### Ashes on the Wind At 14th level, as the winds carry the ashes of your sisters so to do you move as the cinders. While concentrating on a Witch spell your walking speed increases by 10 feet and you can run along walls and over liquids. #### Avatar of Vengeance Upon reaching 18th level, as an action you can take on the burden of those who have been lost to the flames. For 1 minute you become the personification of vengeance gaining the following benefits; * Flames pour from your body, when a creature ends their turn within 10 feet of you they take 1d6 fire damage. * If a creature within 30 feet of you hits 0 hit points you can use your reaction and expend 1 Jinx Die to either heal that creature for the number rolled or cause the body to combust killing it instantly. * You gain a flight speed of 60 feet.
You can use this feature once per long rest. Additionally, you gain immunity to fire damage.
