Otherworldly Patron: The Moon
The moon is an immense celestial body that has drifted beyond our world since time immemorial. And as all ancient things, thrums with the power of magic.
It is no coincidence that werewolves are forced into their bestial forms when its light is at its brightest. And though its gifts are often hard to control and its voice hard to hear, there are those to whom it speaks.

Unarmored Defense
When you choose this patron at 1st level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.
Heightened Senses
Also at 1st level, your primal connection to the moon improves all your senses. You have advantage on all ability checks that rely on hearing, sight, and smell.
Lycanthropic Shift
At 6th level, the moon gives you the gift it gives all of its children, the power to turn into a humanoid beast hybrid.
As a bonus action, you may expend a pact magic spell slot to shift into a hybrid form, granting you abilities depending on the form you choose. Regardless of which form you choose, your unarmed strike becomes a natural weapon with which you are proficient. Attacks with your unarmed strike while in this form uses your Charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls, and all count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunities. When you use your action to attack with your natural weapon, you may make a second attack with another as a bonus action.
Each time you use this ability, you may turn into one of the following:
Aerial Form. You gain the features of a flying animal, such as an eagle or a raven.
- Your bite, or claws are your natural weapons.
- Your natural weapons deal 1d6 bludgeoning, or slashing damage.
- You gain a flying speed equal to your base walking speed.
Aquatic Form. You gain the features of an aquatic animal, such as a crocodile or a shark.
- Your bite, or tail are your natural weapons.
- Your natural weapons deal 1d8 bludgeoning, or piercing damage.
- You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed, and can breathe in water as if it were air.
Terrestrial Form. You gain the features of a terrestrial animal, such as a wolf or a bear.
- Your bite, claws, tusks, or tail are your natural weapons.
- Your natural weapons deal 1d8 bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage.
- Your base walking speed increases by 10 feet and you gain a climbing speed equal to half your walking speed.
You remain in this form for up to an hour, unless you are unconscious, dead, or end it early as a bonus action.
Greater Gift
By 10th level, the moon has deemed you fit for a further improved gift. Choose one of the following abilities, once you've made your choice, you cannot change it until you would gain an Ability Score Increase.
Immense Form. When you assume your hybrid form, your size becomes large if it isn't larger, your natural weapons damage increases from 1d8 to 1d10, or 1d6 to 1d8 if you have assumed an aerial form, and you have advantage on Strength ability checks and saving throws.
Luminous Claws. Your natural weapons glow with the radiance of the moon. While in your hybrid form, you can choose to shed bright light up to a distance of 30 feet and dim light for an additional 30 feet, and your natural attacks can deal radiant damage instead of its usual damage.
Reflexive Shift. You instinctively shift into your hybrid form in response to danger. You assume your hybrid form when you roll initiative (no action required by you).
Lunar Resilience
At 14th level, the moon has given you the same levels of resilience as it does its lycanthropic children. You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks that aren't silvered.
