Cleric - Wonder Domain

Just like the swirling, invisible strands of magic that pervade the universe, magic-users come in many shapes and sizes. The gods of beauty and fascination have known this for all time. They see much to admire in the earnest curiosity of children and the potential beauty of all things that can be enjoyed by the world's creatures.

Clerics who venerate these deities work tirelessly to return a sense of childlike wonder to those who lost that feeling or never had the chance to experience it in the first place. They are some of the only clerics to utilize non-celestial summons and familiars, and they do so expressly for this purpose.

Bonus Cantrips

1st-level Wonder Domain feature

You gain the minor illusion and prestidigitation cantrips if you don't already know them.

Infectious Curiosity

1st-level Wonder Domain feature

As an action, you can inspire curiosity in a number of willing creatures (including yourself) you can see within 10 feet of you, up to a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of one creature). Each creature gains a number of curiosity dice, which are d8s, equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up). When the creature makes an Intelligence (Investigation) or Wisdom (Perception) check, it can expend a curiosity die to roll the die and add the number rolled to the check before the DM announces its outcome.

Once you spark curiosity this way, you must complete a long rest before doing so again. A creature loses any of its remaining curiosity dice upon completing a long rest.

Channel Divinity:
Magical Transformation

2nd-level Wonder Domain feature

You can use your Channel Divinity to reach into the deep well of magical wonder that your deity upholds, reminding you of what you're fighting for and filling you with determination.

As a bonus action, you present your holy symbol, and your attire and weapons transform into glittering garb and divine implements. Upon transforming, you can end one effect on each creature of your choice (including yourself) you can see within 30 feet of you that is causing it to be blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, paralyzed, poisoned, or stunned.

This transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you are inca-pacitated or die. While transformed, you and each friendly creature within 30 feet of you has advantage on Constitution saving throws made to maintain concentration on a spell.

Magic is My Friend

6th-level Wonder Domain feature

When you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes damage from a spell, you can use your reaction to grant resistance to the creature against that instance of the damage.

Potent Spellcasting

8th-level Wonder Domain feature

You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Ultimate Super Sparkle Beam Finisher

17th-level Wonder Domain feature

While you are transformed by your Magical Transformation, you can use your action to unleash your ultimate technique and end your Magical Transformation immediately. The world seems to focus its attention on you as you chain together magnificent poses and hand gestures, ending with a powerful exclamation of your finishing move's name.

A creature you can see within 120 feet of you must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC as its will to fight you is torn away by a beam of incandescent magic. The target takes 8d10 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

If this damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, you can instead choose to have it drop to 1 hit point and have a change of heart. If you do, the creature's alignment changes to become more similar to your own: good, evil, or neutral (it keeps the lawful or chaotic part of its alignment if it has one).

Once you use this finishing move, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
