# Warlock, The Living Doll Patron Ah yes, dolls. They’re fun toys for all the little boys and girls! Friends who can be taken anywhere at any time! With their only limitations being a kid's imagination. Dolls are the cause of many imaginary friends, from Little Chuck Chuck to Pretty Annable. Any adult might chuckle at the thought of a small man-made toy being a friend to such a child, but there is sometimes truth in what such children say. Sometimes dolls are alive, for good or evil reasons, and sometimes they can keep a child company. Help them through the years of growth. Some children won’t let go of dolls such as these, carrying them into their adult years. And when things start going downhill for these adults, their not so imaginary friends are there to help, opening the path to a pact of much horror. ### Expanded Spell List (1st level Living Doll Feature) The Living Doll lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. |Spell Level | Spells | |:---:|:-----------:| | 1st | Command, Dissonant Whispers | | 2nd | Magic Weapon, Warding Bond | | 3rd | Bestow Curse, Tiny Servant | | 4th | Fabricate, Summon Construct | | 5th | Animate Objects, Antilife Shell | ### Magical Doll Also at 1st level you gain access to a magical doll that aids you on your quests. At the end of a long rest, you can choose either Big Protector, Silent Creeper, or Mind Master. That doll appears in front of you and stays until it dies, you dismiss it as an action, or you die. At the end of a long rest, you can change the type of doll you have active. If the Doll dies, you can expend a Warlock Spell Slot to bring it back to life with 10 times the slot expended HP, as long as it's within 15ft of you. Alternatively, when you take a short rest you can choose to have your doll come back to life. You can only have your doll come back to life on a short rest once per long rest. The Doll is proficient with one simple weapon of your choice, and goes immediately after you do in initiative, and in order for it to use any of it's actions you must spend a Bonus Action to control it. The Doll can take reactions on it's own. It doesn't get Sneak Attack if it has disadvantage. > >***Spell Knowledge (Mind Master).*** The Mind Master knows and can cast Minor Illusion and one other Cantrip of your choice from any list. It also knows one first level spell from any class list of either of the Enchantment or Illusion school that it can cast once per short-rest. Charisma is it's spell casting modifier. > ### Actions > ***Doll Slam.*** *Melee Attack:* Your Spell Attack to hit, 5ft, one target. *Hit:* 1d8 + doll's Dexterity or Strength + PB force damage. \pagebreak > ### Reactions > ***Protection of Friends (Big Protector only, requires doll's reaction)*** .This reaction can be used when you are hit by an attack and the Big Protector is within 5ft of you. When used, the Big Protector moves to protect you, and takes the damage of the attack instead. ### Strings of Puppetry At 6th Level you can attempt to control creatures, bending their limbs like they're mere puppets. As an action you can attempt to hijack a creature within 30ft of you, summoning puppet strings that attach to their body parts. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the strings attach to the target, and detach at the end of your next turn. On the target’s turn, you can choose how they move, and at the end of their turn they are restrained till the strings detach. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier, and regain expended uses after taking a Long Rest. ### Doll Form (10th Level) As a bonus action you can transform yourself into a doll-like form for one minute. You gain the following benefits: * You gain Xd4 temporary HP where X is your Warlock level halved (rounded down) * You can climb on any surface. * As an action you can twist and change your body in a horrifying display. All creatures within 10ft of you must make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. While frightened in this way they must spend all their movement to get away from you in the least dangerous path possible, taking the dash action if they can. * If you use Strings of Puppetry you can control all the actions a creature will take, not just their movement. Once you use this ability you can’t do so again until you take a long rest or expend a warlock spell slot. ### Ultimate Doll Master (14th Level) You and you're doll have reached a greater bond, granting you the following benefits: * You can change your doll type with a minute of concentration, as if you were concentrating on a spell. * You no longer need to spend a bonus action to cause the Doll to use an action. They act as an independent creature who takes your mental orders (No action required) * Lastly, your Doll's highest stat become 20 instead of 16 Additionally, your individual doll types gain upgrades: * Big Protector: When The Big Protector use their "Protecting a Friend" reaction, they can also make one attack against the attacking creature, provided they're within range of a melee attack. Additionally they gain a bonus to their damage rolls equal to your Charisma modifier and is a Large creature. * Silent Creeper: The Silent Creeper can now Dash, Disengage, or Hide as a bonus action, and as an action they can become invisible until they make an attack. They can turn invisible this way an number of times equal to your PB. * Mind Master: The Mind Master learns one spell of your choice of 5th level or lower, and can change this spell on a Long Rest. They can cast this spell once per Short Rest or Long Rest. Additionally they learn the Mage Hand cantrip, and the hand is invisible.
