Half-Ooze

some beings 'bless' their followers by allowing them to shift forms transforming them into a half-ooze. These 'blessed' can shift form and get through small spaces as well as being able to attack people with their Pseudopods.



Half-Ooze traits

  You gain the following features if you are a half ooze.
  Age. the oldest half-ooze is 500 years old but no-one knows exactly how long they can live.
  Alignment. a half-ooze can be any alignment. however, they do tend towards chaos.
  Ability Score Improvement. your constitution score increases by 2.
  Size. you are made up of enough slime to make up a medium creature. so you are medium in size.
  Speed. your base walking speed is 30ft. and you have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
  Amorphous. you can squeeze through any space bigger than 1 inch wide.
  Pseudopod. your unarmed attacks deal 1d4 + your strength modifier bludgeoning damage.
  Subraces. you are one of 3 subraces descended from ochre jelly, gray ooze or black pudding.

Black Pudding

being descended from a black pudding gives you the following traits.
  Ability Score Improvement. your charisma score increases by 1.
  Acid Body. when a creature within 5ft. of you touches you or hits you with a melee attack takes 1d4 acid damage. this damage increases by 1d4 at 6th, 11th and 17th level.
  Fling Acid. you learn the acid splash cantrip and at 3rd you can cast melf's acid arrow once not requiring a spell slot. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Gray Ooze

being descended from a gray ooze gives you the following traits.
  Ability Score Improvement. your intelligence score increases by 1.
  Stone camouflage whilst in rocky terrain you have an advantage on dexterity (stealth) checks made to hide.
  absorb attack. when you are hit by a weapon attack you can use your reaction to half the damage taken from that instance of damage.

Ochre Jelly

being descended from an ochre jelly gives you the following benefits.
  Ability Score Improvement. your wisdom score increases by 1.
  Spider Climb. you can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
  absorb attack. when you are hit by a weapon attack you can use your reaction to half the damage taken from that instance of damage.
