Biology and Appearance
Yautja are Humanoid in proportions, but have reptilian features, like the ability to change their skin color over time, while having mammalian traits such as the ability to birth live young and nurse them. The Blood of the Yautja is Luminescent green in color, and has the ability to combat some acids.
Society and Culture
Yautja have a culture built on trophy hunting and warrior honor. Yautja travel out to distant worlds in order to hunt the greatest of foes, and bring back their heads as trophies.
Yautja society is possibly the most gendered society in the whole galaxy, with the vast majority of their Males going out on hunts, while the majority of their Females are kept on their homeworld. Due to hostile relations, it isn't know much of what goes on on their homeworld. There are exceptions, and female leaders do exist in their society, but it isn't as common as in other societies.
Names
Yautja names are gendered between male and female names, with male names ending in "e", and female names ending in "i"
- Male Names: Mauche, Jofe, Ronte, Hoyke, Scotaye, Lolenale.
- Female Names: Ketni, Utni, Goghi, Lemri, Minachani, Benacali.
Yautja typically use their clan or hunting group as their last name, although there are exceptions.
Yautja Traits
As a Yautja you have the following special traits:
Ability score increase. +2 Strength and +1 Wisdom.
Age In Years Yautja reach adulthoood in their late teens and rarely live longer than a century
Alignment. Yautja are generally war like and aggressive species, which tends them towards dark alignments, though there are some exceptions.
Size. As Medium-size creatures, Yautja have no special modifiers due to size. A 8 foot tall Yautcha would be considered tall amongst their people.
Speed. Base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You have darkvision out out to 60 feet. Dimlight is considered brightlight and darkness is considered dimlight.
Martial Proficiency. You have proficiency with light and medium armor as well as the Wristblade and Shoulder Cannon.
Mimicry. You can mimic sounds you have heard, including voices. A creature that hears the sounds you make can tell they are imitations with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check opposed by your Charisma (Deception) check.
Tech Dabbler. You know the Wire Line at-will tech power. When you reach 3rd level, you learn and can cast the Countermeasures tech power once per long rest. When you reach 5th level, you learn and can cast the Infiltrate tech power once per long rest. Your techcasting ability is Intelligence. You require use of a wristpad for these powers.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Galactic Basic, and Yautja. Yautja is characterized by clicks, grunts, and roars. While Yautja can speak Galactic Basic, Most haven't learned the language. Most that do Understand other languages speak through Mimicry, but there are some exceptions.
