Cleric of the Chaos Cartoon Domain

Chaos. It’s what the universe is built of. Beautiful, Deadly, fascinating, chaos fills us all-

“Hey”

Uh, I’m narrating here?

“Guess what, I don’t care. This is no longer the domain of chaos! It's the cartoon domain! And since I'm the greatest most chaotic cartoon figure out in the dungeons and dragons roleplaying game, it deserves me. LOCOT CRAZEWILD”

So it’s not enough I’m making a full module about you

“No, obviously not”

Look I’m trying to be dramatic and mysterious and cool sounding here, can we leave the meta for like, the magic items?

“NO. SHUT UP. I’M LOCOT CRAZEWILD, WILD MAGIC GOBLIN, LORD OF THE MULTIVERSE, I AM NARRATING THIS NOW”

Fine, be my guest. I need a coffee break…

“Thank you.” ahem

“WHAT'S UP. I’m Locot Crazewild, Cartoon god of the cosmos! And this, this is my domain! Some clerics follow goody two shoes gods and get mediocre powers of Light or Life, some clerics follow darker broody gods that grant them powers over Death or the Veil of the afterlife, and then there’s me!

Clerics who follow me, the best god, get chaos! Absolute maddening chaos! The rightful way this universe should be! Do random things, for no reason! Blow up the mayor's house, kill some dude named Arsene, destroy a dragon from the inside out, whatever! Make funny quips, run from a dude with a shot gun, join up with Lebron James in an animated special! Come on, read on! I know you want to control the very fabric that fills this wonderful multiverse, and force other not so insane folk to crumble at it’s true power…”

Cartoon Domain Spells

1st level Cartoon domain feature

Cleric Level Spells
1st Chaos Bolt, Bane (Not the batman one)
3rd Nathair’s Mischief (This used to be Crown of Madness, but that spell sucks!) , Tasha’s Mind Whip
5th Blink (Actually more useful than the thing your eyes do), Hypnotic Pattern
7th Confusion, Fabricate (Please use this spell to mess with people, please, change a building into a cow, I beg you)
9th Animate Objects (Que Beauty and the Beast music), Synaptic Static

Tools of Madness

1st level cartoon domain feature

Your god (Me, Locot Crazewild, by the way) grants you the coolest gift! I mean, you can’t spread chaos without the right tools. You gain proficiency in two of the following skills, as you gain some ability to see into the insanity of the world: Arcana, Insight, Perception, Investigation.

At 8th level you can double your proficiency for the skills you chose, which can not stack with another similar ability such as Expertise or The Skilled Feat.

You also gain the Cantrips Mind Sliver and Vicious Mockery, as you are able to unleash the pure chaos of your cartoonish soul (and me, your god, if I haven't mentioned that) upon a foe’s mind. These cantrips count as a cleric cantrips for you.

Bend Reality

1st level cartoon domain feature

Also at 1st level you can cause your very presence to create an aura that bends reality enough to hinder enemies.

As a bonus action, you enter a Cartoon State for 1 minute. While in this state, you gain a Bonus to your AC equal to your Charisma Modifier as long as you aren’t wearing heavy armor. Additionally, when a creature hits you, you can use a reaction to cast a spell that deals Psychic damage, affecting only the creature that hit you. You can enter The Cartoon State a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain expended uses after a long rest.

Channel Divinity: Magic Makes No Sense Anymore

2nd level cartoon domain feature

When a creature (Including you) casts a spell, you can expend a reaction to force them to make a Wisdom Saving Throw, which the target can willingly fail. On a failure, the target rolls on the Wild Magic Sorcerer’s Wild Magic table, following the same rules as the Sorcerer subclass does. On a success, nothing happens. This is a 2nd level ability, what’d you expect.

Hammerspace

6th level cartoon domain feature

As an action you can reach into the multiverse and pull an object from somewhere. To be fair I don’t know where they come from. Makes for a great comical effect though.

When you use this action, designate an object worth up to an amount of gold equal to 10 times your cleric level, then roll 1d4 - 1. The desired object appears in your hand in a number of rounds equal to the result of the d4 roll. For each round your object is not pulled you must spend a bonus action to try again next turn, and the DM decides a random object worth no more than 5 gold that is summoned. If for some reason you can't use this bonus action, you waste a use of this feature.

You can also put your own objects in the weird satchel thing. You can do this as a bonus action, and can retrieve the item as a bonus action. You can use the Hammerspace ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain expended uses after a long rest.

Potent Spellcasting

8th level cartoon domain feature

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip. So much extra damage is insane! That being said, take Blessed Strikes, from Tasha's, it's much better! I just need to use Potent Spellcasting because of some rules or something. I don't want to go back to multiversal jail!

ABSOLUTE CARTOONISH CHAOS (In caps because I’m awesome that way)

17th level cartoon domain feature

Remember me? Locot Crazewild? Well guess what, we’re doing MORE CHAOS!!! AHAHAHAHA.

As an action you can create a 30ft radius sphere of cartoon physics around you, that moves with you! this sphere lasts for 1 minute or until you drop concentration, as if concentrating on a spell.

As an action on each of your turns, you can cause the terrain in the sphere to change however you like. Effects that would damage a creature force them to make an Intelligence Saving Throw. You can choose for creatures within the sphere to be unaffected by changes in the sphere, to them it merely looks like a holographic illusion.

On a failure they take 6d8 Psychic damage and are frightened until the end of your next turn. While frightened in this way their speed is 0. A creature half as much on a success, believing it to be the damage type of whatever they saw harming them.

Additionally, creatures in the sphere blind outside of the radius of the sphere, and take 4d8 Psychic if they exit the sphere (except for creatures you designate as safe)

Lastly, as a bonus action while this ability is active, you can spend a bonus action to teleport within 5ft of a creature within the sphere.

You can use this ability once before needing a long rest to use it again, unless you expend a spell slot of 7th level or higher.
