# Bard - College of Composition Members of the College of Composition have excelled at their craft and mastered the art of song and magic. Those that hear their songs often feel the effects after the bard has put down his instrument. Composition bards are often sought out for their ability to move an audience and weave multiple songs together, creating an entirely new set of effects. ### Conductor At 3rd level, you embrace the composition of song and magic. You gain the unique ability to retain the effects of one concentration spell, as you begin another, creating a medley. While concentrating on a spell, you can choose to spend an inspiration die to extend a concentration spell for a number of rounds equal to the inspiration spent, and begin a new concentration spell. You no longer need to make concentration checks for the spell you have released. You cannot combine more than 2 effects in this way. You must have an instrument equipped to use this feature, and the spells used must be either from the Bard Spell list, or spells chosen with the Magical Secrets bard feature. The equipped instrument can be used as your spellcasting focus. Your maximum spend for Inspiration die to extend spells is 1. ### Images \columnbreak ### Bring it all together At 6th level, you have learned how to either inspire or dishearten those that hear your music. On the turn you activate your Conductor feature, you can use your bonus action to cause Consanance, or Dissonance, to a number of creatures equal to your CHA modifier. * Consanance - Gain the Bless effect * Dissonance - Gain the Bane effect, CHA save vs. your spell DC. Your maximum spend for Inspiration die to extend spells increases to 2. ### Crescendo At 14th level, the flow of music and magic exists all around you, and is so tangible that you can reach out and access more than you are normally capable of when you are in the moment. When you have 2 spell effects running, if you use your action to cast a spell, you can use your bonus action to cast a second spell with a casting time of 1 action, or 1 bonus action. The second spell cannot be of a level higher than your CHA modifier. This feature still uses spell slots as normal. Your maximum spend for inspiration die to extend spells is increased to 3.
