Biology and Appearance

Kessurians are humanoid in appearance, sporting reddish-brown skin of varying degrees. Their skin often bears blotches of lighter, more pale tones. These patterns adorn their faces and sometimes their hands but seem to fade at the neck and wrist areas, leaving the vast majority of their bodies a solid color. Their head sports pointed ears and montrals, small hollow horn-like structures of flesh and bone, both of which also bear their natural blotched skin patterns. Their hair is often styled in ways that both compliment the lighter markings and identify their place in the Kessurian Socio-Economic Caste System.

Society and Culture

Kessurians on the planet Kessur are subject to their traditional caste system, resulting in their persons being calm, collected and accepting of their stations. Meanwhile Kessurians who break free of the rigid system in place to satiate their wanderlust for the greater galaxy often rely upon their cunning and wits to survive and make a living on the fringe.

It is to be noted that often times Cast Born and Fringer Kessurians but heads on most ideals, though such interactions rarely come to blows.

Alignment. Kessurians raised on the homeworld, still partial to the caste system lean towards Lawful alignments while Fringers tend towards more Chaotic alignments.

Size. Kessurians stand about the same height, if not slightly taller than the average human with similar weight variations. Their size is medium.

Spatial Awareness. On a Wisdom (Perception) to visually see a target hidden in cover or concealment, after the roll is calculated but before the Storyteller dictates success or failure, they may chose to reroll this check. The Kessurian must take the new roll even if it is worse. This ability can be used once per short or long rest.

Fighter Jockey, Kessurians are treated as having expertise in Intelligence (Piloting) when piloting in combat.

Keen Hearing. Kessurians gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks involving hearing.
