Sorcerous Origin

Arcane Soul

When an arcane caster of great power has children it is possible for their progeny to inherit that power.

As is the case with Sorcerers of the Arcane Soul. One of your ancestors was a powerful mage, and after years, decade, or maybe even millenia, that power has resurfaced in you.

Inherited Spells

Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Inherited Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a Sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of Sorcerer spells you know.
Inherited Spells
Sorcerer Level Spell
1st Find Familiar, Magic Missile
3rd Flock of Familiars, Enlarge/Reduce
5th Glyph of Warding, Magic Circle
7th Evard's Black Tentacles, Otiluke's Resiliant Sphere
9th Passwall, Hold Monster

Arcane Inheritance

1st-level Sorcerer feature

You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill, and can learn one additional language of your choice.

Additionally when you learn new spells or replace spells you can choose them from the Wizard spell list.

Magical Empowerment

6th-level Sorcerer feature

When you take a short rest you can expend a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, if you do you regain all expended Sorcery Points.

Additionally, when you cast a spell that deals damage you can expend any number of Sorcery Points; if you do, roll that many additional damage dice.

Persistent Ritual

14th-level Sorcerer feature

Whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher you may expend 3 Sorcery Points, if you do you ignore the concentration requirement if that spell has concentration.

Additionally, you choose a number of spells from the Wizard spell list, equal to your Charisma modifier, that have the Ritual tag, and learn those spells. Each of these spells counts as a Sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of Sorcerer spells you know. You can cast those spells as Rituals.

Master of Metamagic

18th-level Sorcerer feature

Whenever you cast a spell you may use up to two Metamagics on it.

Additionally the first Metamagic you use each turn does not expend Sorcery Points.
