Monk - Way of the Needle

Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this way at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Medicine, as well as in Woodcarver's Tools. ###
Acupuncture
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to trigger pressure points with needles, allowing for a host of different effects. Whenever you make a successful unarmed strike, you can forgo dealing damage to the target to instead apply one of the following effects: * The target is charmed by you for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus, with the effect ending at the end of your turn. * The target is frightened of you for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus, with the effect ending at the end of your turn. * The target's speed is halved for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus, with the effect ending at the end of your turn. * The target gains a number of temporary hit points equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die. * The target must succeed on a Constitution Saving throw against your Ki Save DC or be paralyzed until the end of your next turn. ###
Improved Critical
At 6th level, your pinpoint accuracy increases. Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. ###
Pointed Treatment
Also at 6th level, you learn to heal your party members through a slow treatment. All creatures friendly to you that spend hit dice as part of a short rest recover an additional amount of hit points equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom (Medicine) Modifier. ###
Flying Acupuncture
Starting 11th level, you are able to practice your medicine at a distance. You can expend 1 Ki point to make an attack with a thrown needle. Make a ranged weapon attack roll against a target you can see within 45 feet of you, using the same modifiers as your Unarmed Strikes, on a hit, the target is affected by an effect of your Acupuncture feature. ###
Improved Acupuncture
When you reach 17th level, your skill with the needle reaches its apex. You can expend 1 Ki point to apply one of the following effects with your Acupuncture. * The target takes a -1 penalty to all Ability checks, Saving throws, and Attack rolls until the end of your next turn. * The target's Armor Class is reduced by 2 until the end of your next turn. * The target can't take reactions for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus, with the effect ending at the end of your turn. * The target takes 1d6 necrotic damage for every 5 feet it moves, including forced movement. * The target must succeed on a Constitution Saving throw against your Ki Save DC or take 1 level of exhaustion. * The target makes all Saving throws with advantage until the end of your next turn. * Choose one Ability Score, the target has disadvantage on all Ability checks, Saving throws, and Attack rolls that use the chosen Ability until the end of your next turn. * The target regains 1 expended spell slot of 1st level. * The target makes all Concentration checks at advantage for the next minute. * The target can expend up to 5 of its own hit dice and recover the appropriate number of hit points, adding its Constitution Modifier to each die like normal. * The target must succeed on a Constitution Saving throw against your Ki Save DC, on a failure, it is unable to speak for 30 seconds. * The target can't recover hit points until the end of your next turn. Additionally, whenever you use Flurry of Blows, each attack that you make deals an extra 1d8 piercing damage on a hit.
