Barbarian - Path of Nightmares
## By pulling energy from the negative planes, barbarians of the Path of Nightmares are able to channel spirits and become like them. They phase through solid matter, fly, drain their enemies strength, and haunt the dreams of unfortunate souls. | Barbarian Level | Feature | |:---:|:-----------:| | 3rd |Incorporeal Rage | 6th |Shadow Bolt | 10th |Drain Vigor | 14th |Haunting ###
Incorporeal Rage
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain the following benefits while Raging: * You can move through objects and creatures as though they were difficult terrain. If you end your turn while in an occupied space, you and whatever is occupying it each take 1d10 force damage and you are shunted to the nearest unoccupied space. * Once per combat, immediately after you move through an object or creature, your next attack is made at advantage. * You gain a fly speed equal to half of your walking speed. * Starting at 10th level, you are able to see 30 feet into the ethereal plane. * Starting at 14th level, you can take the Dodge action as a bonus action. ###
Shadow Bolt
At 6th level, you are able to shape darkness into lethal weapons. As an attack, you can make a ranged weapon attack against a creature you can see within 60 feet of you. On a hit, the creature takes necrotic damage equal to 1d8 + your Strength Modifier. ###
Drain Vigor
Starting at 10th level, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack you can force it to make a Constitution Saving throw, against a DC equal to your Strength Score. If the creature fails, its Strength Score is reduced by 2 points, and it must make the Saving Throw again at the start of each of your turns. On a successful save the effect ends. A creature affected by this ability has its Strength Score returned to normal when it next finishes a long rest. You can do this once, and must finish a long rest before you can do it again. ###
Haunting
Beginning at 14th level, you gain the ability to cast *command, phantasmal force, fear, phantasmal killer,* and *dream* (targeting yourself only), each at their base levels, even if you are raging. You can cast each of these spells once in this way, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. The DC for these spells is equal to your Strength Score.
