Roguish Archetype
At 3rd level, a rogue gains the Roguish Archetype feature. This document presents a new option for this feature: the Silent.
Silent
Rogues of this archetype subscribe to the philosophy of death by a thousand cuts. Originating from a tribe of skull-adorned huntresses from the mist-smothered foglands, Silents unleash volley after volley of makeshift but deadly shivs, wearing down their foes with an unrelenting assault.
Blade Dance
3rd-level Silent feature
Your speed with drawing and attacking with thrown weapons is unmatched. As a bonus action on your turn, you can make a number of weapon attacks equal to your proficiency bonus. These attacks must be made with weapons with the light and thrown properties, and you don't add your ability modifier to the damage of these attacks unless that modifier is negative.
Additionally, you can draw a weapon that has the thrown property as part of the attack you make with the weapon.
Infinite Blades
3rd-level Silent feature
You are always carrying dozens of hand-crafted throwing daggers called shivs. The statistics of a shiv are identical to a dagger, except that a shiv is destroyed after it is used to make a ranged attack. As long as you have ready access to your belongings, you are considered to have a practically infinite number of shivs for the purpose of combat. In addition, you gain proficiency with the poisoner's kit and tinker's tools.
At 9th level, your attacks made with shivs count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Accuracy
9th-level Silent feature
You can unerringly hit the mark with your thrown weapons. The normal and long ranges of your thrown weapons are doubled, and your ranged attacks with thrown weapons ignore half cover and three-quarters cover.
Envenom
13th-level Silent feature
As part of a long rest and with access to a poisoner's kit, you can coat your shivs in a potent, long-lasting poison. For the next 24 hours, your shivs deal an additional 1d4 poison damage.
You also have advantage on ability checks made to extract poison from corpses, and you can apply a single dose of injury poison to up to three of your shivs.
Storm of Steel
17th-level Silent feature
With one swift motion, you can unleash a flurry of shivs in every direction. As an action, you can make a ranged attack with a shiv at every creature of your choice within 40 feet. All of these attacks can benefit from Sneak Attack, even if you already used it this turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
