Starting at 1st level, you are able to sacrifice your life force to help others in need. Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hit points to another creature that is bloodied, you can deal 1d4 + your cleric level necrotic damage to yourself to heal the creature by the same amount + your wisdom mod. Damage done this way cannot be reduced in any way.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier and regain all your uses at the end of a short or long rest.

Divine Retribution
At 17th level, you can use an action to harness all of the pain you received recently and force a creature to suffer it in one shot. Make a melee spell attack using your holy symbol. A creature hit by this attack takes necrotic damage equal to your maximum health minus your current health. A creature that is reduced to 0 hit points this way explodes in a giant pool of blood and guts. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
