Oath of the Cataphract
Charge forward, oh valiant knight, and gallop across the battlefield like lightning sundering the cold ground.

Oath of the Cataphract
The Oath of Cataphract calls to paladins who fearlessly leads the charge on the battlefield while riding their bonded mounts. The paladins that follow this oath consider their mounts as comrade in arms, and both are fiercely loyal to each other, for if you are able to show loyalty to a steed that would devote its life to you, what more so for your liege and country?
Tenets of the Cataphract
A paladin who assumes the Oath of the Cataphract must swear upon these tenets, and face all trials side by side with their valiant steed.
Loyalty - Show loyalty not just to your king, country, and diety, but also to those who serve beside you in battle, be it beast or man.
Compassion - Show sympathy and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.
Courage - Both you and your loyal beast must lead the charge with a steeled heart, and a fiery soul.

Channel Divinity
Channel Divinity: Lead the Charge
You use your Channel Divinity to momentarily boost your speed while mounted. As a bonus action, until the end of your next turn, your speed is increased as if you where taking the Dash action, and just once on the turn after you use Channel Divinity you will become first in the initiative sequence if you weren't already.
Channel Divinity: Phalanx Breaker
You use your Channel Divinity to empower your steed, and attempt to mow down your enemies in your path. For one minute, whenever you end your movement in an area that is within 5 feet of one or more enemy creatures, you can use your reaction to force each creature to make a Dexterity saving throw. Any creature that fails takes 2d10 bludgeoning damage and becomes prone.
Loyal Steed
At 3rd level, you can cast the spell Find Steed once without expending a spell slot. Once you cast it you must finish a short or long rest to cast it again using this trait.
At 13th level, you can now also cast Find Greater Steed once without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either spell, you must finish a short or long rest to cast it again using this trait.
Aura of the Armored Steed
At 7th level, both you and your mount gain an aura of protection. While you are mounted, both of you and your mount get a +2 bonus to your AC. If you dismount, you can choose to keep the aura centered either around yourself or your mount. This aura also extends to those within 10 feet of you.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Bonds of War
At 15th level, you do everything you can to protect your steed, and your steed inturn reciprocates, doing the best it can to keep you mounted. Any opportunity attacks you provoke while mounted can only be directed at you and not your mount.
Additionally, you have advantage on all Dexterity and Strength saving throws to keep yourself mounted, and you no longer fall prone if you fail. Instead you take 1d6 bludgeoning damage.

Warmount Blessings
At 20th level, you gain different types of blessings depending on what type of mount you summon using your find steed or find greater steed spell. You must be mounted to receive the blessings. If the mount you are riding is not one of the usual mounts given by the find steed or find greater steed spell, your DM must decide which blessing is appropriate to receive based on the mount you use.
