Mimicry. The wendigo can mimic the voice and cry of victims it has eaten in the past, and uses these to attract new prey. Characters familiar with the victim will realise it is not their voice by passing a DC 13 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Ambush. On the first round of each combat, the wendigo has advantage on attack rolls against a creature that hasn’t taken a turn yet.
Supernatural Attacks. The claws and teeth of the wendigo are considered magical for purposes of defeating damage resistances and immunities.
Actions
Multiattack. The wendigo makes two strikes with its claws, and then feeds.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d6+5) slashing damage.
Feed. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d10+5) piercing damage. If the attack deals damage, the wendigo heals that much damage, and the target must pass a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, or lose maximum hitpoints equal to the damage dealt, which return at the end of a long rest. A character whose maximum hitpoints are zero is dead.

A wendigo is a creature supernaturally cursed with a ravenous hunger for the flesh of intelligent beings. It especially prefers feeding on members of the race it once belonged to - usually Humans. The wendigo's foul appearance reflects the depravity of its soul, having turned to cannibalism during its wretched former life.
