# Scroll of Radiant Fire

##### Scroll, rare

This scroll is wrapped around a portable firing device, and has 200 charges for the following properties. To expend one or more charges, you must use an action to read the scroll.

* ***Single Bolt.*** While holding the scroll, you can use an action to expend 1 charge to cast the *guiding bolt* spell (+5 to hit with ranged spell attack) from it. Alternatively, you can expend 5 charges to cast *guiding bolt* at 5th level.
* ***Burst Fire.*** While holding the scroll, you can use an action to expend 10 charges to spray a 60-foot-cone with flashes of light. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or suffer the same damage and effects as a *guiding bolt* spell cast at 1st level.

Once the scroll is entirely expended, the device ceases to function and becomes nonmagical.
