Divine Domain: Respite (variant)

A party of adventurers lost in the snowy mountains are suddenly met with the welcome sight of an elderly dwarf, tending a warm campfire and preparing a hearty meal. A young child's insomnia is cured instantly after a ritual performed with the help of a well-meaning aarakocra priestess. An all-out war is practically frozen in place by a tiefling's poignant sermon. These are all examples of clerics embodying the gods of rest, sleep, and meditation, finding it is what we do to take care of each other that truly praises the deities. Fast to make friends and slow to stir anger, Respite Domain clerics find true divinity in peace, comfort, and kindness.

Deities of Respite

Faiths from all across the different planes lay claim to different deities that symbolize and embody the domain of Respite, namely the following:

Eldath, Ilmater, Lliira, and Tymora from the Forgotten Realms, Olidammara, Rao, and St. Cuthbert from Greyhawk, Majere from Dragonlance, Boldrei, Olladra, and the Silver Flame, from Eberron, Yondalla from the Celtic pantheon, Hestia, Tyche, and Hypnos from the Greek pantheon, Bes from the Egyptian pantheon, and Heimdall and Hermod from the Norse pantheon.
