Skeletech
Full-Body Armor
Heavy armor, Legendary, requires attunement
Long ago, deep within an ancient dungeon, a captive artificer plotted her escape and revenge against the old man who kidnapped her. She spent countless nights studying her captor's powerful curse, and designing armor and armaments to mimic his power.
Hardy, near- impenetrable skull, lengthy arms with devastating hands, and powerful, athletic body all went into her many schemes. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, working constantly, until she finally made a functioning Skeletech Exoskeleton!
Equipped with an extra set of arms, powerful legs adapted to run, jump, and dodge almost twice as fast and twice as high, and helmet harder than steel, she made her way out of her prison, ready to kill her kidnapper! An epic battle took place over the course of several hours, until finally, the artificer stood victorious, exhausted, and badly injured. She fled, leaving the plans for her invention behind, to later be discovered by adventurers.
The armor has the appearance of an ordinary humanoid skeleton, the only noticable difference is that it's outside of the wearer's body, instead of inside. When worn, it covers the wearer's body from head to toe, except for the arms, which act independantly based on the wearer's intentions.
While attuned to this armor, you gain the following benefits:
- Your AC increases by 2.
- You gain resistance to nonmagical blugeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- Your movement speed and jumping distance increases by 10ft.
- You gain an additional pair of arms that act identical to normal arms. You cannot cast spells with these arms, or use two-handed weapons. These arms have a range of 5ft, and can carry up to 350lbs of weight. As a bonus action, you can command one of these arms to
- Pick up or use an item, open a door, chest, etc., and push, pull, or carry an object.
- Make an unarmed or melee weapon attack.
Once attuned, no part of this armor can be removed unless you allow it.
