Mimic
Mimics are a type of supernatural creature that are notorious for their ability to shapeshift into objects. They have the ability to mimic the appearance of inanimate objects, such as chests, chairs, or other furniture, and can blend seamlessly into their surroundings. This makes them incredibly difficult to detect, and they are often mistaken for ordinary objects.
Mimics use their shapeshifting ability to lure unsuspecting victims into their trap. They will assume the appearance of a valuable or interesting object, such as a treasure chest or a rare artifact, and wait for an unsuspecting adventurer to approach. Once the victim gets close enough, the mimic will spring into action, revealing its true form and attacking the hapless victim.
