Additional Shifter Subraces
Skyflight
Skyflight shifters are capricious and quirky. Usually, skyflight shifters take after birds, and greatly value personal freedoms and the ability to do as one pleases. With their unique ability to fly while shifted, they often take on risky challenges for the thrill of it.
Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Capricious
You have proficiency in the Deception skill.
Shifting Feature
While shifted, you sprout wings on your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed.
You can't sprout your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be damaged or destroyed when you sprout them.
Scaletide
Scaletide shifters are typically filled with wanderlust, and especially an urge to set sail and explore the ports of the world. Generally, they have slightly piscine or amphibian features, and they tend to be adept at picking up new knowledge wherever they go.
Ability Score Increase
Your Intelligence score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Extra Languages
You can speak, read, and write two extra languages of your choice.
Shifting Feature
While shifted, you have advantage on Intelligence checks, you gain a swimming speed equal to your current speed, and you can breathe underwater.
Chittercrawl
Chittercrawl shifters are especially careful and discerning, and often paranoid. Their appearance takes after insects or arachnids, and they often have small antennae or additional compound eyes.
Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Discerning
You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Shifting Feature
While shifted, you gain tremorsense out to a range of 10 feet, you gain a climbing speed equal to your current speed, and you sprout two smaller secondary arms below your primary pair of arms.
Your secondary arms have a reach of 5 feet, and you can use them to lift a number of pounds equal to your Strength score. You can use them to do the following simple tasks: lift, drop, hold, push, or pull an object; open or close a door or a container; or make an unarmed strike. (Your DM might allow other simple tasks to be added to that list of options.)
Your secondary arms are underdeveloped, and as such they can't wield weapons or shields or do anything that requires manual precision, such as using tools or magic items or performing the somatic components of a spell.
You can't sprout your secondary arms while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your secondary arms might be damaged or destroyed when you sprout them.
