Path of The Symbiote
Barbarians on the Path of the Symbiote draw their power from an extraterrestrial parasite known as a Klyntar. This symbiote resides inside of the barbarian's body and grants them additional power - as well as an insatiable desire to destroy their enemies and consume their brains.
Symbiotic Weapons
Beginning at 3rd level, your Symbiote can form weapons from its body. Using a bonus action, you can have your symbiote take the form of any melee weapon from the Player’s Handbook. Symbiotic weapons cannot be thrown, and you are proficient with them if you were not already. You may have up to 2 symbiotic weapons active at a time. Also, the range for your melee attacks and grapples increases by 5 feet.
Extraterrestrial Hive Mind
Beginning at 6th level, you gain the ability to speak telepathically with any number of creatures within 120 feet of you, and you can hear their telepathic responses. When you make an intelligence or wisdom ability check or saving throw you can call upon your hive mind to grant you advantage on that dice roll. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses on a long rest.
Improved Symbiotic Weapons
At 10th level you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with your symbiotic weapon, and your symbiotic weapons count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance or immunity to non-magical damage.
Consume Brains
At 10th level, when an enemy within your melee attack range drops to 0 HP you may consume their brain to regain a number of hit points equal to your constitution modifier (no action required).
Form of the Klyntar
While raging, you can use a bonus action to allow your symbiote to take control of your body for 1 minute. While in this form you are immune to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, but have vulnerability to fire and thunder damage. The range of your melee attacks and grapples increase by an additional 5 feet, and you can grapple up to 2 creatures at once.
Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you take a long rest.
