bard subclass
Blade dancers combine beauty of dance and deadliness of blades into one harmonious style of combat. The Blade Dancer enamours friends and foes alike with their incredible dexterity and technique, building momentum to enhance their capabilities with their chosen weapon; from increasing reliability with light weapons to hitting harder with heavy weapons.

Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of the blade dance at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the scimitar. If you’re proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.
Fighting Style
At the 3rd level, you may adopt one fighting style of your choice.
- Fancy Footwork
If you are not wearing armor or wielding a shield, you gain a +2 bonus to AC - Two-Weapon Fighting
When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. - Tactical Swings
All Slashing damage weapons that you are proficient with may use your dexterity modifier rather than strength, even if they do not have the finesse property.
Performance Points
At the 3rd level,
Whenever you deal combat damage with an
unarmed strike or a melee/ranged weapon,
or successfully dodge an attack, you gain one Performance Point.
You may only have a maximum of 4 Performance Points at any time.
Upon completing a short or long rest, the number
of Performance Points you have is reset to 0. Once per Short or Long rest while rolling a Bardic Inspiration die you can use half of the result as Performance Points.
Momentum
When you reach the 3th level, You can spend Performance Points (PP) to use the following abilities. The entries below detail their names, Performance Points cost in parentheses, and features:
- Blizzard Rush (1PP).
Once on each of your turns when you attack with
your weapon using the Attack action, you can make one additional weapon attack using your second weapon as part of the same action. The damage
die of this bonus attack becomes 1d4. - Relentless Dance (2PP).
Strike with both weapons as a bonus action,
dealing 2d6 + your Dexterity modifier. You gain temporary Hit Points equal to half of the damage dealt. - Light as the Wind (2PP).
While taking the attack action, strike the enemy and jump back 10ft without provoking Opportunity
Attacks. - Elusive Dance (2PP). When an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you.
Extra Attack
At the 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Spend 2 performance points to increase the number of attacks to three. This is reduced to 1 performance point at level 11
Dance Step
At the 6th level you become trained in the art of the Blade Dancers. As a bonus action, you may enter, exit, or change dance styles. While using a dance style, you gain the features of that style.
- Blazing Storm.
While using this style, you deal an additional amount of damage with your melee weapon equal to the number of Performance Points you currently possess (minimum of 1) - Still Mountain.
While using this style, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half the number of Performance Points (rounded up) you currently possess (minimum of 1). - Sharpened Ballad.
While using this style, you gain a bonus to hit with your weapon attacks equal to half the number of Performance Points (rounded up) you currently possess (minimum of 1). - Rising Windmill.
While using this style, you don't trigger Opportunity Attacks and your speed increases by 5 feet times
equal to half the number of Performance Points
(minimum of 5 feet).

Finishing Flourish
At the 14th level, you can perform a magnificent flourish while activating or switching dances with your Dance Step. After switching dances you immediately gain 4 Performance Points. You regain this ability after a short or long rest. Additionally your maximum Performance Points is now 8.
