Dancer

As old as man the tradition of dance has not only survived but integrated it into the very nature of mortal men. These fighters have trained their bodies to feel the rhythm of battle and combine deadly technique with graceful movement.

It Takes Two

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Performance skill and can use your Dexterity modifier for this skill. Additionally, when making a Performance check with another creature then can add your Dexterity modifier to their roll.

War Dance

Also, at 3rd level, as a bonus action you can whip yourself into a rhythmic dance that complements the use of light and fast weapons for 1 minute you gain the following benefits;

  • Light weapons you wield have their damage die increase by 1 step (example: 1d4 would increase to 1d6)
  • Your Armour Class increases by half your Proficiency Bonus.
  • Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus and regain all uses after finishing a long rest.

Coercion in Motion

At 7th level, you can use your Dexterity modifier in place of your Charisma modifier when making skill checks.

Feverish Inspiration

At 10th level, when you your Second Wind feature you perform a dance for a willing ally that you can see within 5 feet of you. On their next turn they gain one additional action, which can be used to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object actions. If the target takes the Attack action, they can only make one weapon attack with their extra action.

If the target ends their turn without using their extra action they lose the benefits of this feature.

Dervish

At 15th level, while you are performing your war dance you gain the following benefits;

  • You have advantage on the first attack roll you make against each creature on your turn.
  • Creatures you have hit with a weapon attack cannot make attacks of opportunity against you for the duration of your turn.

Savant of Dance

At 18th level, while you are performing your War Dance you are considered to be under the effects of the haste spell.
