# Way of Reflections Monk Monks that follow the Way of Reflections try to mirror their allies that they bond to. A reflection of their courage, a reflection of their intellect, or a reflection of their ingenuity, the monk uses this mindset within its fighting style to catch opponents off guard and power through where one may normally struggle. The strongest power of the Way of Reflections is to use another’s perspective and way of thinking to solve problems. ### Mirrored Union Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can synchronize your ki alongside an ally you bond to. As a bonus action, you can bond to an ally, granting you additional benefits based on whether the bonded ally is a full-caster (Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, and Wizard), a half-caster (Artificer, Paladin, Ranger, and Warlock), or martials (Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, and Rogue). You can only bond to one ally at a time and you can only swap to another ally a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. You regain all uses at the end of a long rest. While bonded, you gain one of the following features: * Full Caster – You gain a +1 to Saving throws. * Half Caster – You gain a +1 to AC. * Martial – You gain a +1 to attack rolls. Additionally, as a bonus action, you can expend 1 ki point to grant your bonded ally temporary hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die. ### Empowered Flurry At 3rd level, your bond with your ally gives you new insight on how to approach combat. When bonded with an ally through the Mirrored Union feature, you gain an empowered Flurry of Blows. The bonuses are as followed: * Full Caster – When you use Flurry of Blows, the next saving throw the creatures hit by the unarmed strikes makes will have the roll reduced by 1 for each successful hit. * Half Caster – When you use Flurry of Blows, the creatures hit can be moved 5 feet in a direction of your choice. This movement will not provoke opportunity attacks, but can provoke damaging effects caused by environmental hazards. * Martial – When you use Flurry of Blows, you can now make weapon attacks with monk weaponry instead of unarmed attacks. ### Staggering Strike When bonded with an ally through the Mirrored Union feature, you gain an empowered Stunning Strike. The bonuses are as followed: * Full Caster – When you use the Stunning Strike, if the creature fails the save, the target is stunned for a number of turns equal to your Wisdom modifier. Each turn, the target can remake the save to end the stun early. The target will take its whole turn to make this save. * Half Caster – When you use the Stunning Strike, the creature gains vulnerability on the next attack or spell. Immunity becomes resistance and resistance becomes neutral when calculating damage. * Martial – When you use Stunning Strike, the stunned creature will have disadvantage on Wisdom and Charisma saving throws. ### Enhanced Evasion When bonded with an ally through the Mirrored Union feature, you gain an empowered Evasion. The bonuses are as followed: * Full Caster – When you use the Evasion feature and successfully take no damage, you can reflect some of the damage back at the creature. As part of the Evasion reaction, you can inflict damage of the same type back at the creature equal to your Wisdom modifier times the spell level cast. If the damage is not a spell, the damage reflected is equal to 1/4 of the damage rolled. * Half Caster – When you use the Evasion feature and successfully take no damage, you gain 1 Ki point back. * Martial - When you use the Evasion feature and successfully take no damage, as part of the same reacton, you can make a melee attack against a creature within 5 feet of you. If the attack lands, you may use Stunning Strike. This does not cost ki points and does not apply the Staggering Strike feature. ### Kindred Warrior WIP
