# Roguish Archetype ### The Mime Mime is the art of the silent story. By closely studying the movements of the body, practitioners learn to create whole worlds merely by suggestion. Some mimes' suggestions are so powerful that they impress upon the real world. You are one such prodigy, possessing the ability to redefine the real with a single gesture. #### Charades *3rd-level Mime feature*
Your mastery of body language and facial expressions allows you to reach over any language barrier. You can communicate nonverbally with any creature that understands at least one language and can see you, though you gain no special ability to understand them in return. ___ Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Performance skill. #### Palpable Performance *3rd-level Mime feature*
Your performances are so convincing that they can fool reality itself. You can use a bonus action to mime an invisible creation of force into being within your reach, which takes the form of a non-magical object you’ve seen before that weighs up to 10 pounds and fits inside a 5-foot cube. It must be a solid, discrete object and is a generic example; you can’t replicate a particular item. An object created by this feature has no value. ___ If you create a ranged weapon, you can create 10 pieces of ammunition along with it, which vanish after hitting or missing their targets. ___ The object vanishes after 1 minute, when you use this feature again, or at the start of your turn if it isn't in contact with a creature. You can also dismiss it as a bonus action. #### Imaginary Construct *9th-level Mime feature*
You have learned to trade complexity for longevity, creating simplistic shapes with a variety of applications. You can use an action to mime an invisible, immovable panel of force into being within your reach. A panel is 1/4 inch thick, 5 feet wide and up to 15 feet long. If you create a panel longer than 5 feet, you must move along its length as you do so. ___ A panel has hit points equal to three times your rogue level, an AC of 10 + your proficiency bonus, and is immune to poison and psychic damage. You can use a bonus action to touch a panel and erase it. Otherwise, it lasts for 1 hour. ___ You can create a number of panels equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses after completing a short or long rest.
#### Just Passing Through *9th-level Mime feature*
You can use an action to manifest a door sized for a Medium creature in a creation of force no more than 6 inches thick within your reach, such as one created by *Leomund’s tiny hut* or *wall of force*. The door ceases to exist after 1 hour. ___ Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you complete a short or long rest. #### Persistent Performance *13th-level Mime feature*
The world no longer needs to be reminded that your work is as real as anything else. Objects created by Palpable Performance can now exist for up to 1 hour, and up to three can exist at once. If you create a fourth object, another one of your choice vanishes. ___ Additionally, you can now take 1 minute to create an object instead of using a bonus action. An object created this way can weigh up to 100 pounds and must fit inside a 15-foot cube, and doesn’t disappear as a result of not being in contact with a creature. Only one such object can exist at a time; if you create a second, the first vanishes. #### Tour de Force *17th-level Mime feature*
You have refined your skills to perfection. This is true art. When you use Palpable Performance to create an object, it can be a magical item of up to very rare rarity that isn't one of a kind. If it requires attunement, you can choose to instantly attune to it. It doesn't disappear as a result of not being in contact with a creature, even if you create it with a bonus action. ___ Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you complete a long rest.
