Way of the Jaunting Heart
Monks that follow the Way of the Jaunting Heart believe that everything in the universe is connected and the idea of space is nothing but a constraint that sentient creatures put on themselves. These monks train to surpass the limitations of their physical being, learning to move instantly from place to place. This spiritual training makes them unpredictable in combat and near impossible to hold down.
Jaunting Strike
3rd-level Way of the Jaunting Heart feature
Your meditation allows you to surpass the limits of your physical body and blink instantly through the battlefield. Once during your turn, when you make an attack with a monk weapon or an unarmed strike, you can target a creature you can see within 15 feet of you. You teleport to an unoccupied space next to the creature before making the attack.
You can use this feature again before the end of your turn by spending 1 ki point for each jaunting strike made after the first one.
Instinctual Jaunt
6th-level Way of the Jaunting Heart feature
Your heightened senses allow you to teleport yourself reflexively to avoid danger. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to spend 2 or more ki points. You roll a number of Martial Arts dice equal to the number of ki points spent, and reduce the damage by the total. You then teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 15 feet of you.
If you reduce the triggering damage to 0, you can make a melee attack against a creature within your range after teleporting as part of the same reaction.
Transcendent Presence
11th-level Way of the Jaunting Heart feature
The range of your Jaunting Strike and Instinctual Jaunt features extends to 30 feet, and you can use your Jaunting Strike feature twice per turn without spending a ki point.
In addition, whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can spend 1 ki point to attempt to forcefully jaunt their spirit away. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be teleported back, up to 15 feet away from you, and be knocked prone.
Boundless Spirit
17th-level Way of the Jaunting Heart feature
Your soul has expanded to the point of connecting with every corner of creation. You can spend 7 ki points to cast plane shift or teleport. Additionally, the range of your Jaunting Strike, Instinctual Jaunt and Transcendent Presence features double.
