Druid Circle: Circle of the Blood Moon
When a full moon the color of blood sits high in the sky, many find the hearts awakened to an ancient anger and primal blood lust. Druids of the Circle of the Blood Moon are devoted to capturing this feeling and projecting it onto unexpecting foes. Blood moon druids rarely show themselves in the light of day, preferring to dwell in shadows, out of sight, from which they can bend others to their will without anyone knowing.
This druid circle is almost always perceived as evil, with most expecting to be bewitched the moment they see such a druid. However, many who practice this circle seek to understand the monsters within themselves and those around them.
Primal Hunger
As an action you may expend one use of your Wild Shape feature and bestow a special curse on one humanoid within 30 feet of you. While cursed, the following effects are applied:
- It must make a Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of its turns. On a failure it makes an unarmed attack against the nearest creature regardless if it is friend or foe. On a success it may act normally.
- It gains unarmed attacks which it is proficient in and are finesse weapons which deal 1d6 slashing damage.
- When it deals damage you may use your reaction to increase that damage by an amount equal to your proficiency bonus
The curse can last for up to 10 minutes, but requires concentration as if concentrating on a spell. If a creature affected successfully saves against it 3 times, the curse ends. This curse also ends if the cursed creature is the target of a Remove Curse spell, or if it is more than 1 mile away from you. You may also choose to end the curse at any time. A creature that is immune to being charmed is immune to this feature.

Nocturne Eyes
Also at 2nd level you eyes become especially comfortable in darkness. You can see normally in both magical and nonmagical darkness to a distance of 120 feet.
Sanctuary in Shadow
At 6th level darkness seems to follow you wherever you go. You learn the Darkness spell which does not count against the number of spells you have prepared. You may cast it once at 2nd level without expending a spell slot. Additionally, you may cast Darkness at higher levels, increasing the radius by 5 feet for each slot above 2nd, it also dispels any light created by a spell equal to or less than the level it was cast at.
Twin Horrors
Starting at 10th level, whenever you use your Primal Hunger feature, you may target a 2nd humanoid within range.
Evernight
When you reach 14th level your primal magic surges to empower your curses. Your Primal Hunger feature is enhanced in the following ways:
- The range of Primal Hunger becomes 90 feet instead of 30.
- A cursed creature’s unarmed strikes deal 1d10 instead of 1d6
- Adding your proficiency bonus to the damage a cursed creature deals no longer consumes your reaction.
- If a cursed creature collects three failures on the Wisdom saving throw, it no longer rolls wisdom saves at the start of its turns, instead always acting as if it failed. It can no longer end the curse by accumulating successful saves.
- You can maintain concentration on any number of Primal Hunger curses at the same time.
