### Biology and Appearance
Worxerians were covered in stiff barbed quills, the longest of which grew on the arms and legs, and could reach a length of several centimeters. Worxerians possessed the unique ability to propel these quills by simply flexing specific muscles, which could propel the quills with incredible speed and accuracy up to thirty feet away.

### Society and Culture
Worxerians were nearly-extinct bipedal sentient mammals with sharp quills. They were capable of hurling these with great speed and accuracy by flexing their muscles in a certain manner. Their native world, Worxer, was destroyed when its sun went supernova. The surviving population gradually became sterile for a lack of nutrients found exclusively in their home sector of Elrood. Most of their species culture was lost and many travel the galaxy looking for work or a cure for their species.

### Names
Worxerian names are usually short and simple.

**Male Names.** Prikler, Fifter, Devik

**Female Names.** Briss, Firril, Toira

### Worxerian Traits
As a Worxerian, you have the following special traits.

***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Strength score increases by 1.

***Age.***  Worxerians reach adulthood in their late teens and live about a century.

***Alignment.*** Worxerians are a fractured people with no real establishment they tend toward no particular alignment. The best and worst are found among them.

***Size.*** Worxerians are usually around 6 to 7 feet tall and weigh about 210 lbs. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

***Speed.*** Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

***Quills*** Your quills are a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. Additionally, your unarmed strikes deal 1d4 kinetic damage.

Additionally you can make a ranged attack with these quills, It has a normal range of 30 feet and a long range of 90 feet, and on a hit it deals kinetic damage equal to your unarmed strikes damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

***Spined hide*** At the start of each of your turns, any creature grappling you or grappled by you takes kinetic damage equal to your unarmed strikes damage die.

***Darkvision*** You have a keen eyesight, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

***Languages.*** You speak, read, and write in both Galactic Basic and Worxi. Worxi is a dead language consisting of harsh consonants and guttural sounds.
