Earth Domain

With a hand to the earth, the muscular half-orc grinned as earth rolled up her arms and compressed into rough plating along her shoulders, before coating the entirety of her body in earthen armor just as the jaws of the ankheg snapped at her waist, only cracking and crumbling the rock. But instead of backing down, the half-orc rose her arm, to her God above, and slammed downwards as earth coalesced into a massive fist around her own; shattering the ankheg’s skull in one simple strike.

Clerics of the Earth domain are often a hardy and strong folk as they believe in the robustness and practicality that the earth itself brings. More often than not, these Clerics are literally down to earth, understanding that without the gift of earth, of land, and of bedrock, that most other luxuries would simply cease to exist. It is not uncommon to find Clerics of the Earth to have a druidic tendency, as their God is naturally tied to the earth, to strength, to the unyielding, and to protection.

At each indicated cleric level, add the listed spells to your spells prepared. You also learn the cantrip Mold Earth, which does not count against your number of known cantrips and acts as a Cleric spell for you.

Built like Stone

Starting at 1st level, you gain proficiency in heavy armor and you ignore any strength requirements for wearing heavy armor.

Earthen Mantle

Starting at 1st level, you can call upon the earth to cover in a bulky, protective shell of rock. As a bonus action, you can gain temporary hit points equal to half your Cleric level, and while you have these temporary hit points you have resistance to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage and your speed is reduced by 10 feet. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of this feature once you complete a long rest.

Channel Divinity: Earth’s Bulwark

Starting at 2nd level, you can extend your earthen protection to those around. As an action you can raise your holy symbol and expend a use of your channel divinity to cause one willingly creature you can see within 10 feet of you to gain temporary hit points equal to your Cleric level + your Wisdom modifier. These temporary hit points last for 10 minutes, and while they have these temporary hit points their AC increases by 1.

Stonewall

Starting at 6th level, your connection to your deity has deepened, and you are nigh immovable. You ignore difficult terrain caused by earthy terrains, you have advantage on saving throws and ability checks that are made to resist being moved or knocked prone, and once per turn, if you have temporary hit points, when you deal bludgeoning damage or hit a creature with a melee attack, they must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Divine Strike

Starting at 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with the intense force of the earth. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 magical bludgeoning damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
