Orb of Celestial Sight
Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement)
This crystal orb is around 6 inches in diameter, and it glows faintly with the light of the stars. It sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. Completely covering the orb with something opaque blocks the light.
While you are attuned to the orb and it is on your person, you gain the following benefits:
- Your Wisdom score increases to 25 if it was lower.
- While holding the orb you can spend 1 minute focusing on it to cast the augury spell. When you cast the spell in this way, the cumulative chance for a random reading is decreased to 10 percent.
- While holding the orb you can spend 10 minutes focusing on it to cast the divination spell. When you cast the spell in this way, the cumulative chance for a random reading is decreased to 20 percent.
- While holding the orb, you can spend 1 hour communing with the stars above for their guidance to cast contact other plane. When you cast the spell in this way, you automatically succeed on the Intelligence saving throw. Once cast this way, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.
- While holding the orb, you can cast true seeing as an action. Once cast in this way, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.
