# Cleric Divine Domain: Rot Domain This is a villainous Cleric Class created for a Cleric of Zuggtmoy, a recurring villain in one of my campaigns. I have not balanced it for use as a PC class, but my players asked for it, so here it is. Please use with caution, and DM investment, in your own games. ... *Fear not your future for now you must sleep,* *In Zuggtmoy's Cradle your body shall steep.* *Your flesh a fine banquet of delicate food,* *Your gift to the Lady shall nourish the brood.* *What births from your leavings and grows in her nave,* *Shall feed from your ruins and fat from your grave.* ...

### Bonus Proficiency When you choose this domain at 1st level you gain proficiency with heavy armour. ### Spore Kissed Also starting at 1st level, your type becomes *humanoid (plant)*, and you are immune to the *charmed* and *frightened* conditions. In addition, if you are reduced to 0 hit points, you release a cloud of toxic spores and each creature within 10 feet of you takes *poison* damage equal to its number of hit dice. ### Channel Divinity: Destructive Spores Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to eject destructive spores. Choose one of the following effects: #### Caustic Spores. You release spores in a 30 foot cone. Each creature inside the cone must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 *acid* damage at the start of each of your turns. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of its turn, ending the effect on itself on a success. The save DC is 8 + your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. \columnbreak #### Infestation Spores. You release spores that burst out in a cloud that fills a 10 foot radius sphere centered on you, and the cloud lingers for 1 minute. Any flesh-and-blood creature in the cloud when it appears, or that enters it later, must make a Constitution saving throw. The save DC is 8 + your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a successful save, the creature can't be infected by these spores for 24 hours. On a failed save, the creature is infected with a disease called "The Infestation of Zuggtmoy" and also gains a random form of indefinite madness (determined by rolling on the Madness of Zuggtmoy table below) that lasts until the creature is cured of the disease or dies. While infected in this way, the creature can't be reinfected, and it must repeat the saving throw at the end of every 24 hours, ending the infection on a success. On a failure, the infected creatures body is slowly taken over by fungal growth and after three such failed saves the creature dies and is reanimated as a spore servant *(MM pg. 230)* if it is a humanoid or a Large or smaller beast. The corpse stays animated for 1d4+1 weeks or until destroyed, and it can't be animated again in this way. You have no control over Spore Servants created by The Infestation of Zuggtmoy. #### Euphoria Spores. You release spores in a 20 foot radius sphere centered on yourself. Other creatures in that area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become *poisoned* for 1 minute. The save DC is 8 + your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. When the effect ends on the creature it gains one level of exhaustion. ### Rapport Spores Also starting at 2nd level, as an action you can eject a cloud of Rapport Spores in a 30 ft radius around you. These spores can go around corners and affect only creatures with an intelligence of 2 or higher that aren't undead, constructs or elementals. Affected creatures can communicate telepathically with one another while they are within 30 feet of each other. The effect lasts for 1 hour. ### Pacifying Spores Beginning at 6th level, as an action you can eject spores at one creature you can see within 5 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be *stunned* for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the condition on itself on a success. The save DC is 8 + your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus.

\pagebreak ### Hallucination Spores At 8th level, as an action you can eject spores at one creature you can see within 5 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be *poisoned* for one minute. The *poisoned* target is incapacitated while it hallucinates. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The save DC is 8 + your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. ### Animating Spores Starting at 17th level, as an action you can target one corpse of a humanoid or large or smaller beast within 5 feet of you and release spores at the corpse. In 24 hours, the corpse rises as a spore servant *(MM pg. 230)*. The corpse stays animated for 1d4+1 weeks or until destroyed, and it can't be animated again in this way. The servant responds to orders given to it with Rapport Spores. On each of your turns, you can use a bonus action to command any spore Servant you animated with this ability using Rapport Spores (if you control multiple Spore Servants, you can command any or all of them within range at the same time, issuing the same command to each one). You decide what action the servant will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, the servant only defends itself against hostile creatures. Once given an order, the servant continues to follow it until the task is complete.
