Aggresive. As a bonus action, the chupacabra can move up to its speed toward a hostile creature that it can perceive.

Blood Frenzy. The chupacabra has advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature that doesn’t have all its hit points.

Charge. If the chupacabra moves at least 15 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 18 (4d8) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Keen Smell. The chupacabra has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Legendary Resistance (2/Day). If the chupacabra fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Regeneration. The chupacabra regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and isn’t in sunlight. If the chupacabra takes radiant damage or damage from holy water, this trait doesn’t function at the start of its next turn.

Standing Leap. The chupacabra’s long jump is up to 30 feet and its high jump is up to 15 feet, with or without a running start.

Actions

Multiattack. The chupacabra makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws. Alternatively, the chupacabra makes one bite and one gore attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 26 (4d10 + 4) piercing damage. > Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage. > Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d8 + 4) piercing damage. > Blood Disgorge (Recharge 5-6). The chupacabra vomits blood in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 36 (8d8) necrotic damage, and it can’t regain hit points for 1 minute. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage with no additional effects.

Reactions

Bloody Rampage. When the chupacabra takes damage, it makes one attack with its claws against a random creature within its reach.
