Kamado Clan

The fiery haired Kamado live a peaceful existence, worshiping a long forgotten sun deity. Consummate dancers, they take up their masks and dance from dawn til dusk. They achieve this by way of a secret Yang release technique.
Hinokami Kagura
An ancient dance with twelve unique forms, Hinokami Kagura is the sacred treasure of the Kamada family that is taught to every able bodied child from the moment they can walk. Each move can be turned into a deadly martial technique.
Marked for Greatness
Some clansmen and women are born with a burn shaped marking on their skull, designating them as their generation's greatest dancers and warriors. This mark grows in intricacy and size along with their bearer's prowess.
Kamado Traits
- Ability Score Increase. +2 Con, +1 Str or Dex
- Alignment. A Clan dedicated to hearth and home, most if not all Kamado stray towards goodness.
- Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
- Skill Proficiencies. Performance, Pick one between: Athletics, Chakra Control, Martial Arts
- Sun Blade. You are proficient with 1 simple or martial melee weapon of your choice.
Kamado Features
Sun Breathing. The Kamado have access to a separate list of jutsu unique to their Clan. You can add these jutsu to your jutsu list instead of selecting jutsu from the Normal jutsu list.
Dance of the Fire God. The Kamado's immaculate dances are something to behold. Beginning at 1st level, when making a performance check you can use Strength or Dexterity in place of Charisma for your Skill Ability Modifier. Additionally, you gain a +1 Bonus to the rolls. This bonus increases to +2 at 7th and +3 at 15th.
Radiant Blaze. From birth you have trained to channel the sun's might. At 3rd level, whenever you make a weapon attack or cast a bukijutsu with the weapon chosen with Sun Blade, you may spend 10 chakra to empower it with radiant chakra. Granting it the following benefits until the start of your next turn;
- Your weapon emits bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. The light is sunlight. Radiant Blaze's light increases any light made from 'Breath of Sun' hijutsu.
- Your weapon deals an additional damage die.
- When you land an attack with your weapon or bukijutsu, ignore resistance on the damage roll. Your target cannot gain the benefits of regeneration until the end of your next turn.
Total Concentration Breathing. Beginning at 7th level, you draw upon the ancient Yang release techniques of your family, enhancing your body and mind through your lungs. As a bonus action on your turn, you can spend 10 chakra to enter a trance-like combat state as your body is pushed to its limits. For the next minute you gain the following benefits;
- Your weapon attacks and bukijutsu gain a bonus to damage rolls equal to your bonus from Dance of the Fire God.
- You have advantage on Constitution and Charisma saving throws. You may spend 10 chakra as a bonus action to attempt another saving throw to end a condition, even if you normally couldn't.
Thirteenth Form. At 11th level, your ability to fight using your family techniques gains an endurance long thought impossible, utilizing the secret thirteenth form of the Breath of Sun.
Once per turn, you may gain an action after gaining the benefit of Thirteenth Form. This action can only be used to cast Kamado Hijutsu. You can use once per long rest, you cannot give yourself additional uses through feats or jutsu.

You leap over your opponent, delivering a powerful cut towards their neck. Make one melee taijutsu attack using your weapon. On a hit, you deal your weapons damage + 4d4 and the target must succeed a constitution saving throw or gain 1 ranks of bleeding on a failed save. Until the bleeding is stopped, they cannot speak.
When this bukijutsu ends, place yourself within 10ft. of your target. If no spaces are available, move to the nearest one.

All affected targets must also make a constitution saving throw, becoming restrained for 1 minute. A restrained character makes another constitution saving throw at the end of their turns to end this effect on them.

If this jutsu is used as a Finisher, you instead make a melee taijutsu attack against the target at advantage, dealing your weapons damage + 12d12.
At Higher Ranks: If you cast this jutsu above A-Rank, increase the cost of this jutsu by 10 and it can critically strike.
Feats
Set your Heart Ablaze
Prerequisite: Kamado Clan, Level 4
Your connection with the sun deepends, allowing it to flow through your ninjutsu. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Strength or Intelligence score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Ninjutsu you cast can gain the benefit of Radiant Blaze.
- Radiant Blaze changes the damage dealt by affected ninjutsu to fire and removes all nature affinity.
Total Concentration Breathing Constant
Prerequisite: Kamado Clan, Level 8
You've mastered your breath, enhancing your body even while you sleep. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You gain half the effects of Total Concentration Breathing at all times (rounded down). If you use Total Concentration Breathing, you gain double the effect in place of Total Concentration Breathing Constant.
Hinokami's Blessing
Prerequisite: Kamado Clan, Level 12
Whether or not you were born with the mark of greatness, one forms somewhere on your head as you ascend to greater heights. Monsters fear you, knowing you bear the sun's glory. Whenever you use Total Concentration Breathing, you can activate your mark. If you do so, gain the following listed benefits. When your Total Concentration Breathing ends, you suffer three level of exhaustion.
- You are immune to the charmed, fear, and exhaustion conditions for Hinokami's Blessing duration.
- Creatures damaged by your bukijutsu or weapon attacks cannot regenerate or heal until a medical jutsu of a rank equal to or higher then the Bukijutsu is used on them to remove this condition.
Adversary Traits
- Total concentration Breathing: As a bonus Action "Adversary Name" can enter this stance. They gain a +1 to hit and damage.
- Dance of the fire God: when making a performance check you can use Strength or Dexterity in place of Charisma for your Skill Ability Modifier. Additionally, you gain a +3 Bonus to the rolls.
- Radiant Blaze: When you land an attack with your weapon or bukijutsu, ignore resistance on the damage roll. Your target cannot gain the benefits of regeneration until the end of your next turn.
- Blazing Fervor: Your weapon or emits bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. The light is sunlight. Radiant Blaze's light increases any light made from 'Breath of Sun' hijutsu.
Latent
As you indulge in the arts of your distant ancestors, you grow closer to the sun god's dance. You may choose one weapon you are proficient in as your Sun Blade, you may use it to activate Radiant Blaze for 10 chakra. You can do so up to half your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Realised
Your blood burns with the sun's brilliance as it gives you strength you never realised you possessed. You may use Total Concentration Breathing once per Long Rest, you gain a static +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls instead of applying Dance of the Sun God's benfits.
