# Monk ### Way of the Alleycat Monks who study the Way of the Alley Cat, are usually from monestaries located in urban environments. They hone their technique by getting into tavern brawls and street fights, using their environment around them to their advantage both in and out of combat. #### Bonus Proficiencies When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in improvised weapons from using anything you can find around you to your advantage. You also gain proficiency in the intimidation skill. #### Wall Pin At 3rd level, you learn how to use your opponent's momentum against them. When a large or smaller creature attacks you while you have taken the Doge action, or used the Patient Defence ability, you can use your reaction to make a graple attack with advantage against your opponent. In addition, if there is a wall within 10 feet of you, you are able to rotate the attacking creature so they are between you and the wall, moving both you and the creature up to 5 feet towards the wall. #### Streetfighting **Disarming Strike** - When a creature misses you with a Melee Weapon Attack you can use your reaction to attempt to disarm the target, forcing it to drop one item of your choice that it’s holding. You and the target must make a contested Strength Check. If you win the constested check the creature drops the object you choose. The object lands at its feet.
**Tripping Throw** - When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can expend one Ki Point to attempt to knock the target down. If the target is Large or smaller, it must make a Strength saving throw against your attack roll. On a failed save, you knock the target prone. In addition, if possible you can choose to expend 10 feet of movement to swap positions with the target. #### Urban Toughness Starting at 11th level, you can add your proficiency bonus to your Unarmoured Defence, raising your AC #### Focused Strike Upon a successful Melee Weapon attack or Unarmed Strike, you can expend any number of Ki Points that you have available, for each expended Ki Point, you can deal an extra 1d10 damage. \columnbreak \pagebreak
