Eilistraee's Dance

At 1st level, Eilistraee's song sets your spirit aflame, allowing you to perform an elegant battledance, provided you aren't wearing medium or heavy armor or using a shield.

You can use an action to start dancing, which lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, if you don medium or heavy armor or a shield, if you use two hands to make an attack with a weapon, or if your movement speed is reduced to 0 (grappled, restrained, etc). You can also dismiss Eilistraee's Dance at any time you choose (no action required).

While this feature is active, you gain the following bonuses:

  • Your walking speed increases by 10 feet.
  • You have advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) and Charisma (Performance) checks.
  • Opportunity attacks made against you are made with disadvantage.
  • Distracting Battledance. When you either have a dancing sword or a spiritual weapon within 5 ft of an opponent, and when you have spent at least 25 feet of your movement to walk around that opponent; your dance confuses your foe, allowing either your dancing sword or spiritual weapon to take the chance and strikes your opponent. Until the end of your turn, when you use your bonus action to command an attack, either your dancing sword or spiritual weapon may attack twice.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Alright, this one's a bit convoluted. The most concerning point, is in the last bullet. Here's how I came to this idea:

  • Lore-wise, sword dancers were known for their remarkable technique with the Dancing Swords and to an extend, their Spiritual Weapon.
  • Sadly, spiritual weapon is subpar.
  • Allowing more attacks might be too similar with War domain's feature
  • As a feature that involves dancing, I want to incorporate something that triggers after successfully moving, especially when you've succeeded 'circling' a foe.

A few important things that I need feedback on:

  • Is the damage too much? I think it'll just bump it by a bit, but not overpowering. Another variation is (1) attack directly after trigger (2) grant advantage
  • Is the wording ok? Can you easily understand it?
  • Some variations of the movement trigger: When you successfully move to the opposite side (imagine flanking squares), or when you successfully "circle" the enemy, which means going around it.

As a core feature, please heavily critic this feature

Mesmerizing Battledance

As you immerse in your dance, creatures can't help but watch you in awe. Starting at 6th level, when you're in Eilistraee's Dance, anytime you spend 15 feet walking around a creature, you may choose to force the creature to take a Wisdom saving throw with DC eual to your spellcasting modifier. On a failed save, the creature loses focus and spends some time watching you dance. Until the start of you turn, the creature can't use its reaction. On its turn, it can use either an action or a bonus action, not both.

This effect is similar to a toned down Slow. Originally, I wanted to make it more similar to Mind Whip, though I guess it's too broken for only a movement trigger.
