Class Features

Enrage

As the Son of Ares, you can push creatures under the effects of Odikinesis past their breaking point, causing them to fall into an Enraged frenzy while in your presence. As an bonus action, once per long rest you can choose a number of creatures with 30ft of you and force them to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 14). Upon failure, the creature becomes Enraged for 30 seconds and are drawn towards you and have disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you. If an Enraged creature attempts to move more than 30ft from you, it must make a Constitution saving throw. Upon failure, it's movement speed is reduced to 0 for the rest of it's turn and takes 2d4 psychic damage.

The save DC and damage dealt increases to DC 16 and 3d4 at 9th, DC 17 and 4d4 at 11th, DC 18 and 4d6 at 15th and DC 19 and 5d8 at 19th level.

Ability Score Improvement

At 2nd level, you can increase one ability score by 2.

You gain this feature again at 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th and finally at 20th level.

You cannot increase an ability score above 20 until level 10.

Pyrokinesis

At 4th level, you have gained an small affinity for pyromancy. As a bonus action, you can coat your weapons with flames, dealing an additional 1d6 fire on hit and emits dim light in a 15ft radius until the flames are dismissed with bonus action.

The additional damage increases to 2d6 at 8th, 3d6 at 11th, 3d8 at 15th and 4d8 at 19th level.

Destructive Quake

At 5th level, you have gained an affinity for channeling the strength of the Gods and can raise your weapon to the heavens before slamming back down into the earth with all your might, releasing a powerful quake the ripples outwards. As an action, you can force every grounded creature within a 15ft cone to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 13 + Strength modifier). Upon failure, creatures take 8d6 + Str mod in force damage or half as much on a successful one.

At 10th level, the damage increase to 10d6 + Str mod. At 13th level, the range increase to a 30ft cone and creatures are knocked prone on a failed save. At 15th level, the damage increase to 12d6 + Str mod and the save to DC 15 + Str mod. At 17th level, the range increases to a 45ft cone and creatures are knocked prone as well as stunned for 1 turn on a failed save. At 19th level, the damage increase to 14d8 + Str Mod.

Multi-Attack

At 6th level, you have gained an affinity for the flow of combat and can attack multiple times. You can attack two times per action at 6th, three times at 11th and four times at 19th level.

Telumkinesis

At 7th level, you have gained an affinity for weapon craft after honing your skills in combat. As an action, you can conjure any conceivable hand held weapon, such as a sword and shield, a halberd or a rifle. You have proficiency with your conjured weapons and last until they are dismissed with a bonus action or if you conjure another weapon.

Magic weapons can be studied and then deconstructed with Telumkinesis during a long rest. Once deconstructed, you can conjure a similar weapon with the same stats or effects as the deconstructed magic weapon.

At 11th level, this ability as a bonus action to increase the power of any weapon you are wielding by +1 for 1 minute.

At 15th level, this ability can an addition weapon that can then be used by any of your allies.

At 17th level, this ability can create anything that you can conceivably hold or carry, such as a pillar or battering ram.

Child of Strength

At 8th level, you have gained an affinity to harness the might of a God. When you use your Strength Modifier to calculate damage with a weapon, you can use a d8 instead of a d6.

Child of Ares

At 10th level, you have proven yourself as a worthy Demigod and can surpass your mortal limits. You can now surpass 20 in any stat and gain +4 to your Strength ability score.

Battle Cognition

At 12th level, you have gained an affinity for the art of war and have developed a 6th sense in the flow of combat. Whenever you make an attack roll with a weapon you can add an additional 2d4 to your total.

You can add 3d4 to your total at 16th and 4d4 at 19th level.

Necromancy

At 15th level, you have gained an affinity for rallying the undead. As an action, you can summon skeletons to aid you on the battlefield. These summons take the shape of four Skeleton Guards and one Skeleton Commander.

  • Skeleton Guard: Medium sized Undead with 9 HP and 20 AC. Equipped with a great shield and a flaming spear (1d6 piercing and 1d4 fire damage)

  • Skeleton Commander: Medium sized Undead with 49 HP and 15 AC Equipped with a flaming great sword (3d8 slashing and 3d6 fire damage)

You can summon six Skeleton Guards and two Skeleton Commanders at 18th level.

Unconditional Surrender

At 17th level, you have gained an affinity for breaking morale. You are a proven warrior, forged by the fire of war and tempered by the glory of victory. Your presence on the battlefield is enough to make the weak tremble in fear. As an action, you can unleash a terrifying aura throughout the area. Each creature within 30ft or in line of sight to you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 17 + Constitution modifier). Upon failure, one of the following effects will take place.

  • Creatures with more than 50% of their total hit points remaining are take 10d6 psychic damage.

  • Creatures with less than 50% of their total hit points remaining become Charmed by you and will obey your commands for 1 hour.

  • Creatures with less than 25% of their total hit points remaining become Frightened by you and are paralyzed for 1 minute.

Child of War

At 20th level, you have earned the favor of the God of War and have been granted the ability to tap into the superhuman might and near invulnerability of a God. As an action, you can increase your Strength ability score by 10 and double your current AC until the end of combat.

This ability can used once per week but after the effects end, your total hit points are reduced by 50% for 24 hours.

Passive Abilities

As a Demigod, you will develop and discover new gifts as you learn more about yourself and the Gods. These gifts come in the form of Passive Abilities, which are skills or powers than you can control naturally and freely.

Odikinesis

As the Son of Ares, you have control over the feelings and emotions of your enemies and cause them to stir themselves into a frenzy while in your presence. All enemies within a 50ft radius or within line of sight of you can be put into a frenzy, reducing all attacks to hit by 1d4 but increasing damage on hit by 1d4. You can activate this passive ability at will.

Rolls to hit are reduced by 2d4 when you reach 7th, 1d6 + 1d4 at 12th, 2d6 at 16th and 1d8 + 1d4 at 19th level. Damage on hit increases to 1d6 at 12th and 1d8 at 19th level.

Skeletal Control

As the Son of Ares, you have control over undead soldiers from wars long since past. Undead creatures that have line of sight to you will obey any command you give them.
