Circle of Splintered Bone
Druids of the Splintered Bone are not necromancers, they do not grant life to the dead, they merely recycle what is no longer needed, contorting and twisting bone to fit their needs. |Druid Level|Feature |:-:|:-:| |2nd|Bonus Proficiencies, Bone Armor |6th|Extra Attack, Osseous Spear |10th|Calcareous Fragments |14th|Bottomless Graves ###
Bonus Proficiencies
At 2nd level, you gain proficiency in Medicine, as well as all weapons that deal slashing or piercing damage. ###
Bone Armor
When you join this circle at 2nd level, you are able to magically create Bone Armor around yourself whenever you finish a long rest. While wearing Bone Armor, your Armor Class is equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Wisdom Modifier. Whenever you are struck by a critical hit, the Bone Armor shatters and is destroyed. You take only half of the damage, and each creature within 5 feet of you must make a Dexterity Saving throw, taking piercing damage equal to your level + your Consititution Modifier on a failure, or half on a success. You can destroy your Bone Armor at no action cost for this same effect. If your Bone Armor is destroyed, you can create a new set by expending a use of Wild Shape as an action. ###
Extra Attack
Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. \columnbreak ###
Osseous Spear
Also at 6th level, after you make a successful weapon attack against a creature, you can use your second attack to cause a spike of bone to shoot out of the target. The spike is 15 feet long and 5 feet wide, and originates from the target in a direction of your choice. All creatures in that area must make a Dexterity Saving throw against your druid Spell Save DC or take 3d10 piercing damage. If this damage reduces a creature to 0 hit points, you may repeat this process from that creature's space. You can do this once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest or create a set of Bone Armor. ###
Calcareous Fragments
At 10th level, you learn to make bones break in particularly dangerous ways. Once per turn, while wearing your Bone Armor, when a creature within 5 feet of you deals damage to you or takes damage from you, you can force it to make a Constitution Saving throw against your druid Spell Save DC. On a failed Save, shards of bone plant themselves in the creature, making it unable to regain Hit Points, and giving it disadvantage on all Strength and Dexterity Saving throws. At the end of each of its turns, the creature repeats this Save, ending the effect on itself on a success. You can do this a number of times equal to your Constitution Modifier, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ###
Bottomless Graves
Starting at 14th level, you are able to delve deeper into your magic, never running out of fuel. You can create Bone Armor around other willing creatures within 5 feet of you, and when you create it around yourself, you don't need to expend a use of Wild Shape. Additionally, creatures wearing your Bone Armor gain resistance to necrotic damage, and can add your Constitution Modifier to the damage they deal with a slashing or piercing weapon once per turn.
