Multiattack. The oozeling can make two pseudopod attacks
Pseudopod Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, 10ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4+2) acid damage. On a hit, a Medium or smaller creature is grappled by the oozeling (escape DC 12)
Tar Toss Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, 30ft., one target. Hit: 5 (2d4+2) acid damage. On a hit, the target is coated in tar. While coated, the target takes a permanent and cumulative decrease to its movement speed of 10ft. If a creature's speed is reduced to 0, it is considered to be restrained. A creature can use its action to remove one layer of tar to remove this effect on a successful DC 12 Strength check. If the creature attempting this ability check is the one coated in tar, it must make this check with disadvantage.

Tar Oozelings
Tar oozelings are a special variant that can typically be only found in swamps and bogs. As their name suggests, these oozelings seem to made out of viscous tar that is normally found in the rotting biomatter of many swamps.
Adhesive Body
Tar oozelings are notorious for their extremely sticky body that seems to adhere to nearly anything. This not only grants them superior mobility that allows them to travel nearly any surface, but it also makes dealing with them quite a nuisance.
Collectors of Shinies
Although oozelings possess a natural curiosity, tar oozelings have a particular love for anything shiny. However, as oozelings do not have eyes, it is unclear how they determine that something is shiny or not. In fact, this has been the subject of debate for centuries among scholars. Some theorize that they can are attracted to objects that possesses specific structural geometries that maximizes its ability to reflect light while others believe that they are attracted to certain minerals that give an object a level of shininess. Some have simply just asked the oozelings why they liked shiny objects but only response they ever got was because its shiny. However, despite this discourse, no true solution has been determining how they understand the concept of shininess.
Trader of Shinies
Despite their innocent fascination, many adventurers consider them to be a nuisance as they are general attracted to many of their valuables, especially money. These oozelings love to adorn themselves with shiny objects and will "wear" them on their tar like form. Once an item is stuck to their form, it is nearly impossible to remove it against the oozeling’s will. As a result, it is not uncommon for tar oozelings to be coated in coins, crystals, jewelry, and other valuables on their slimy bodies. However, despite their knack for taking these goods, they are often willing to exchange their goods if someone is willing to change. However, it is important to know that these oozelings have no concept of monetary value but simply appraise everything by the level of shininess, so a 5000 gp diamond could be viewed as relatively worthless to a tar oozeling if it does not possess a degree of scintillating brilliance.
Sticky Encounters
Although tar oozelings are naturally friendly and peaceful creatures, they can be considerably annoying enemies to fight when angered, typically if they feel like they had their shinies stolen. If one is not careful, they can find themselves quickly pinned down by layers of thick tar preventing a creature to escape. Interestingly enough, tar oozelings rarely kill an enemy, instead they will bury them in layers of tar and take any shinies from their opponent as reparations or tribute for the hostile encounter. However, creatures defeated in this manner still meet a gruesome end as they are typically left helpless in swampy biomes which is home to more dangerous creatures that will not pass up an opportunity to devour a helpless creature.
