Immutable Form. The golem is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Magic Resistance. The golem has advantage on saving throws against spells & other magical effects.

Arcane Prism. When the golem would be the target of a ranged spell attack, the golem is immune to its effects. The spell instead passes through the golem, refracting into a 15ft cone directly behind them. If the original attack roll is higher than the Armor Class of any creatures in that area, it affects those creatures instead, dealing half damage to each.

Piezo Arcana. When the golem receives damage from a spell requiring a save, it instead stores this energy in its crystalline body, which begins to visibly shine, causing rainbows to form around it. It gains a number of temporary HP equal to the damage negated. If the golem would receive Bludgeoning damage while this temp HP remains, the energy erupts outwards, dealing force damage equal to the remaining temp hp to each creature within 20ft. The Temporary HP is then lost, and the bludgeoning damage effects its HP directly.

Actions

Multiattack. The golem makes two slam attacks.

Powerful Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (3d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage, and the creature is knocked prone.

Rainbow Laser. (Recharge 6) The golem unleashes captured light into a powerful kaleidoscopic laser, which is 30ft long and 5 ft wide, emanating the golem in a direction it chooses. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 16). On a failed save, a creature takes 3d8 radiant damage and is blinded. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and suffers no other effects.

Cooking the Prismatic Golem

To make the most of the Prismatic Golem, position yourself in such a way that the Rainbow Laser can hit as many targets as possible. Hallways & corridors are ideal for this, but can happen anywhere. Only use the laser if you can hit at least 3 targets (or you really need to Blind someone), because otherwise the Slam deals more damage. Then, try to stay in the middle of the enemy party, which will make the most of both Arcane Prism & Piezo Arcana, as the enemy's own spells get turned against them.

For Extra Spice, Piezoarcana & Arcane prism work with all spells, not just enemy spells. There's no reason you can't pair a Prismatic Golem with a spellcaster, who then uses it to turn their Scorching Rays & Rays of Frost into devastating cone effects. Alternatively, they can intentionally hit the golem with fireballs, both damaging some enemies with it and charging the Piezoarcana ability. In any case, the party should quickly take down that spellcaster if they want to survive!
