If the target is a creature, it is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the centipede can't bite another target. > > ***Trample.*** The bone centipede immediately move up to it's speed in a straight line, trampling every foe that are large or smaller. It does not provoke opportunity attacks and does not stop when a creature succeed on the saving throw. Each creature whose space you move through must make a DC 15 Strength saving throw. **Failure:** the creature is knocked prone and take 2d6 bludgeoning damage. **Success:** the creatures is not knocked prone and take half as much damage. > ### Bonus Actions > ***Coil.*** The bone centipede can't move until the begining of its next turn, but every time it takes damage while coiled, it takes 1 less.

\pagebreakNum ### Description ___ - ***If you hear scuttling coming from a discarded bone pile, it may be a bone centipede getting a new armor.*** - **Bone Armor** This creature hunt, eat then inhabit the remains of its prey. Including but not limited to large fish, giant and other large humanoids. The bones then become part of the bone centipede defenses. - **Potent Acid.** Bone centipedes have a unique digestive systems. When a bone centipede attacks another creature, the acid in the centipede's bite dissolves all of the prey's tissue and leaves only bones behind. - #### Tactics ___ - **Ambush** The centipede wait underground or buried in bones, just before coiling around its prey and bitting it. - **Familiar** Some necromancers or evil doers may leave behind numerous corpse, much to the pleasure f the bone centipede that will gladly clean any meat remaining with its powerful acid. - - **Location** Caves, various lairs (necromancers, gnolls and other predatory creature) sometimes near active battles to pick of survivors. \columnbreak > ##### Variants > **Bone Lord** change the bony body traits in the following way.
>- **Bony Body.** A creature that starts its turn or enters the space within 5 feet of the bone centipede must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. **Failure:** the creature take 7 (2d6) piercing damage.
#### Bone Armor *Any Armor, Uncommon*
An armor made of bone as several difference with there regular counterpart.
___ -The bone counterpart has a +1 bonus to AC.
-Resistance to piercing damage but vulnerability to bludgeoning damage.
-The wearer has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
