Snow Monarch
Her touch was as cold as ice, her skin as white as snow. I trembled as I felt the coldness spread, for I knew that she would never let me go...
A Sorcerous Origin
Snow Monarchs, also known as Snow Queens or Snow Kings are rare but powerful sorcerers. These special few are born with the power to control the cold and create ice and snow, abilities they use to great effect.
Icy Nature
| d4 | Manifestation |

| 2 | Snowflakes constantly fall from your hair. |
| 3 | You skin is snow white and icy to the touch. |
| 4 | You have a crown of ice. |
Freezing Ray
Starting at 1st level, you can summon spears of ice. You learn the Ray of Frost cantrip, which doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer cantrips you know. When you cast the spell, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals.
When you reach 3rd level in this class, whenever you hit a creature with a spell attack with this cantrip, you may spend 1 sorcery point. If you do, the cantrip deals an additional 1d8 cold damage, and the creature's movement speed is halved until the start of your next turn, instead of being reduced.
Ice Spells
Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or an evocation spell from the sorcerer, warlock or wizard spell list.
Ice Spells

Ice Spears, by Ben Wooten
Snow Born
At 6th level, you gain resistance to cold damage. Additionally, both magical and nonmagical difficult terrain composed of ice or snow doesn't cost you extra moment.
Binding Ice
At 14th level, your magic can lock creatures down. Whenever you deal cold damage to one or more creatures you can see on your turn, you may force one of those creatures to make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the creature is restrained for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending all effects on a success.
Once you've used this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus you can't use again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 3 sorcery points to do so.
Winter's Mantle
At 18th level, you can bestow and icy protection. As an action, you may touch a creature and encase it in frozen armor. The creature gains a number of temporary hitpoints equal to two times your Sorcerer level. While it has temporary hitpoints from this feature, it also has resistance to bludgeoning, cold, fire, piercing and slashing damage, and it gains a bonus of +2 to its AC.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 5 sorcery points to use it again.
